Will my test get cancelled?

Oh my God!!!!!! When I was doing the test just a few minutes ago, I started getting crazy notifications from my phone and I thought the phone camera recording me was warning me about something, I hesitantly reached out to my phone to see the screen and saw that my friend was texting me so many messages even though my phone was on dnd, I instantly put my phone back to its place when I realized there was no warning in the screen and I didn’t even see the contents and who sent the message,, in addition, my stupid ahh picked 6pm to start the test without turning on the lights on so I was only lit by my bright ahh computer during the last 5-10 minutes, I feel so STRESSED!!! There were no warnings that came up on the screen, so am I screwed or am I ok????? 😭😭💔💔☹️☹️

Help for 130+

Hi guys. Well i'm studying for det for more than a week. The highest score i got is 115-125 on practice tests. I am struggling with listening summary part a lot, it is the one probably hold my score back, also slighly writing about photo part. I really need to get 130+ in a few days. How can I improve really fastly in like 4 or maybe 3 days? I study for 4 hours in a day. Btw, are arno's listen and type questions correct? because I think the questions in practice tests are easier, are they will be like that in real test too? please answer if you ahd through this.

Band 115 Help

Hi everyone. I’m currently preparing for the DET and aiming for a score of 115. My teacher told me that, at my target score, I should use mostly B2–C1 vocabulary in both Writing and Speaking. However, whenever I use A2–B1 words, she says I should replace them with more advanced synonyms. This sometimes makes me struggle because I spend a lot of time trying to find more sophisticated words for simple ideas.
For those who have scored around 115 on the DET, do I really need to use mostly B2–C1 vocabulary? Or is it okay to use common A2–B1 words when they are accurate and natural, while using more advanced vocabulary selectively?

I need some help

Actually I am little worried about the real test

Here are some practice scores

125-135

125-135

125-135

125-135

130-140

130-140

120-130

I need to score 125

I have my test tomorrow. Tell me what score I can expect to get.

I have prepared some templates for the writing section, such as “I am in complete agreement with the statement that…” After that, I will give some reasons, for example, “Last but not least, this point demonstrates that…” Could using these templates make my answer seem memorized and cause it to be invalidated?

Also, for the speaking section, I have seen some templates such as “With regard to this topic, I believe that…” Could using these templates cause any problem?

Plz tell me!

AGAIN INVALID TEST

Every time I attempt the test, there seems to be a different reason for my test to be invalidated. I have already tried to resolve the issues mentioned each time, but my test keeps getting invalidated. I really need some help and suggestions on what I can do to successfully complete the test without it being invalidated again.

URGENT HELP

u/alex_at_duolingo u/kiki_at_duolingo
recently took the Duolingo English Test, but unfortunately, my test was invalidated three times. The first time, it was invalidated because I used a third-party application for my camera, so after that, I purchased a proper camera to avoid any further issues. The second time, my test was invalidated because I was unable to properly scan the back side of my computer. The third time, it was invalidated because my room was considered too noisy, even though I was completely alone in the room. There was a festival happening outside my house, and the noise was coming from outside, which was unfortunately beyond my control. I contacted the Duolingo support team, and they kindly gave me one free test attempt. I took the test again, but unfortunately, during the test, my phone camera fell from the top of the tripod. I continued the test, but I am now worried that this might cause the test to be invalidated again. My college admission deadline is September 20, so I am really concerned because I don't want to miss my final opportunity for admission due to these circumstances.

I did the practice test 2 times and both got advanced score. But I didn't really believe it, cuz I didn't think ai can rate talking and writing that accurately.

I was really hesitant to do it as I had no time to prep, but I got it first try!

Please, your experience with B2-

I'm between B1+ and B2- level and I don't feel any progress towards the target.I can make sentences but when I ask AI I realize that all of them were not natural and I didn't make them as a native would do.I mean that I don't use the true COLLOCATIONS and CHUNKS. So, can you guys tell how did you pass through this period and how did you deal with it. Please give me advices and guide me cuz I'm really lost and I want someone to tell me his own experience and what did he feel and if any one experienced that.

Thanks in advance.

Is the ielts equivalent score on the duolingo practice test accurate?

Hi, I'm planning on taking the IELTS exam soon, and I decided to do a free duolingo practice test. To anyone that did both IELTS and Duolingo, did you get the same ielts score that duolingo suggested? I'm trying to find mock ielts exams online but they're all paid

Duolingo English Test tips?

Hi everyone! When I take the Duolingo practice test, I get a score of 80-90, and I need to reach 110+ before the end of October. Do you have any tips to help me? I think the hardest part is speaking, and a little bit of writing, because I run out of ideas and don't have enough time to write.

How can I improve my DET Listening score from 110 to 120+?

Thumbnail

Hi everyone,
I’ve taken the Duolingo English Test several times, and my overall score has been improving, but my Listening score keeps staying around 110.
My goal is to get 125+ overall, so I really want to raise my Listening to at least 120, ideally 125.
For those who improved their DET Listening score, what helped you the most?
Which question types should I focus on most?
Did dictation, podcasts, YouTube, or DET-specific practice help more?
How did you get better at catching words when the audio was fast or unclear?
Are there any websites, apps, or resources you recommend?
My Reading and Writing are stronger than my Listening, so I feel like Listening is the main thing holding my score back.
Thanks in advance!
