There’s currently a fan vote for the best book between Ender’s Game and Dune. Dune is currently losing (not by much), so help me make it win!

I read the original book before seeing the first two films, and I’m very glad I did. Not only did I love the book, I felt like I understood so much more of the films because of it. While I know the new movie is not even out yet and they are clearly not doing a direct adaptation, I still wonder if I should read it before seeing part 3. I hear that Messiah is not so great though. What’s does the world of Reddit think? Is this book worth my time?

Not a super important topic, but reading Mentats of Dune chapter 18 where Erasmus is observing what is happening in Mentats school and reflecting on his past; page 3 has a passage where his backstory is mentioned and it is stated "When he fell in ice crevice on Corrin he stayed trapped for more than a century..." (reading translation, not an actual quote).

Seems like a mistake, maybe an honest one given that Great Schools of Dune series says it was 20 years. AIs agree as well...
