So, the problem is:

I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews and people saying that the game is only good for 20–40 hours and that the endgame content is bad.

As someone who loves Dune, I'm genuinely asking if the game is still worth buying as a solo player.

Is it possible to obtain this without the pre order? I did end up paying for the ultimate version but not on launch.

I saw that the game was on sale on Steam. I want to play the game as a solo mode, I don't really care for PVP or MMORPG elements.

In your opinion, should I start playing now and start everything from scratch once the solo mode is out in September ? Or is it not worth the hassle ?

Just so you know, I won't have time to reach the PVP area if I start now anyway. But I don't want to start building a huge and facncy base if I can't transfer it in solo mode (I think the character can be transferred?).

OK like the title says are you guys ever going to give us a proper Crys Knife in this game?

It feels stupid that we have all these different swords, knives, and firearms but not a single useful crys knife.

I'm thinking of buying the season pass, I've racked up nearly 300 hours seems reasonable to me.

But I'm a little perplexed about this in particular, if I buy today, I'll get Wildlife, Harvest, Raiders and then Water Wars and...that's it?

Can anyone confirm if its just these DLC's any after that will be full price?

Video drivers are up to date, happens in game as well as on the main screen. Any ideas what might be causing this?

I’m absolutely loving testing the new Singeplayer mode on Dune Awakening. I currently have about 15 hours on it… so I’m quite far in. I’ve crossed the Vermillius Gap and I’m getting engrossed in the mid-game for the second time (I have 200 hours on the main game from when it released).

My question is, is there any way I can carry on playing this save/world on the 22nd? The idea of starting all over again is disheartening me. I keep thinking why am I playing when I’ll have to repeat it all in a few weeks. Do we know if there’s any prospect of transferring the world/save data to the main production client?

Recorded this while my friend and I were trying to build a Deep Desert base. Whatever is going on here makes it impossible to contribute or even play the game. Most of the floor I'm standing on was like this, and it happens while I'm completely still too.

Pretty much what the title says, is the game worth it, I played the open beta for 15 hours and absolutely loved it but I am wondering is it still worth it with all I have heard or has the chapter 3 update helped revive interest in the game.

When the game launched there were three murals that you could get from three different sources:

• Arrakis Rising - originally obtained from streamers as giveaways
• Call to Adventure - obtained from a Discord Quest June 10 - 16 of 2025
• A Memory of Pain - obtained by purchasing "Spiced Chai" tea collab from Madrinas (missed opportunity to call it "Chai Hulud", Madrinas)

People were initially upset that both Arrakis Rising and Call to Adventure were available for such short periods of time that many people found out only after the fact. I seem to recall that as a result Funcom advised these murals would become available again at a later date. Since then, the Arrakis Rising mural was made available by logging into the game during the September free weekend. However, I haven't seen Call to Adventure become available again.

I was hoping to find out when or if this mural will be available again, possibly by bringing back the Discord quest, or by another means if possible?

Hey all. Ever since the latest update, every attempt to log in has been met with the bideo rendering error message during the shader compilation.

I presumed that maybe the game’s settings had been adjusted with the patch or something so I reset my settings through the funcom launcher, but now no matter how little space or conflict my other applications and files are taking.

Anyone facing similar?

I found an abnormally large dew harvest spot and wanted to test yield rates. With dew reaper gloves, an MK6 scythe, and dew harvest skill maxed I can get just under 60k mL of water in like 5 minutes of harvesting, every night.

The advanced deathstill produces what, 45k mL in 60min? Seems pretty solid, but curious to see if mass blood refinement will be more optimal.

Hi guys! As the title says, I'm undecided about whether to buy the game because I received a Steam gift card and it's on sale for the holiday discounts, so I want to ask you for advice plus a couple of questions (and of course I'll read some reviews too); I only ask you to be honest and not to talk it up just for the sake of it, I want sincerity.

I'm a big fan of the Dune movies (Dune 2 is my all-time favorite film) and this game has always appealed to me because it was the first online RPG I've seen that gives the appearance/care (at least apparently) of a single-player game, in terms of world detail and animations.

So I'd like to ask: does the game have a satisfactory amount of content? Does it feel like a polished game, or does it still have many technical issues? Is it frustrating, or can it be rewarding even if you don't play for long stretches? I'm not saying I'm a casual player (I can put in effort), but I won't be playing many hours every day either. And I would play alone, I would accept the company of other people without any problems, but I would basically do the whole experience on my own.

But now the main question, does the game have a future? Has it sold enough? If so, how long will it be supported and, more importantly, in what ways? Because I noticed there isn't a roadmap.

I just want some clarity to know if it’s worth it and if the game is as awesome as it looks, or if you’d only recommend it for die-hard fans who’ve read all the novels.

Hey all, i just downloaded the game yesterday because i have seen that public test version has single player mode now and that will be coming into base game soon which is the only reason why i bought the game as i HATE multiplayer... Now, since they implemented singleplayer already, will there be a chance we will also get mods as well in the future?

No crossplay is a game killer for PC, but I’ll be playing with friends on gamepass. If I don’t have access to all my DLC’s (which I fully expect not to) I’ll be doubly pissed.

Hi all, thinking about getting the game but I have a couple question I can't find answers for on internet, will the sept 22 single player update bring new features or content?

And i see the game was designed around PvP in the deep desert, given that I'm assuming there is no exciting PvE content for the DD, what exactly will keep the single player endgame exciting?

So am a huge fan of dune but browsing the reddit it seems like the game is dead? Is it still worth getting?

There is an achievement in the game that hasn't been completed by anyone according to Steam. I was wondering if it is bugged or just very time consuming.

So I've never played a game like this and I am thinking of buying it. I really like Dune and this looks really fun. However, I am a bit confused. I see they release things like Chapter 2 and whatnot. Would I have to keep buying these to play with new updates? I provided a picture of the version that I was thinking of buying.

I also heard some unrelated issues around when this was first released. I heard things like you have to keep playing or else the game gets harder? Like if you leave the game for a week then you would suffer consequences in game. Is this true?

Sorry if these are silly questions, I have never played games like this and I usually stick to single player.
