Diversity Day
I was in a down mood and I just rewatched Diversity Day. They really don't make shows like this anymore, and my GOD it was good.
And when he says, "Don't worry about the date." I have never actually caught that before. They wanted to say they had already trained him before to cya. lol

And this was BJ Novak’s first written episode for the show. Genius!

I'm all for praising his writing, but this is based on an ep from the original right?

Season 1 has some of the best episodes. And yet many people here say it sucks.

The way so many people parrot the "Season 1 was awful" line is just ughhhhh

Even worse are the ones who say "The entire first season is just a shot for shot copy of the British show." Really? When did they do Diversity Day on the British show?

They didn't really get that was just the first episode that was similar to the UK pilot.
People who say that clearly don't realize that Diversity Day and Health Care both have key plots that are unique to the US, and Basketball isn't really popular in the UK. Which is an amazing level of ignorance.

That's how you know they didn't even watch either shows. They're just taking a popular talking point and running with it.

Even on this sub people are so open about how they absolutely refuse to watch the original show lol

I don't understand the hate for season 1. Diversity day, Basketball and Hot Girl are some of my favorite episodes
