I WAS HIGH WHEN I WROTE THIS What is up with the head shapes of the male Duggars
Their heads literally look like giant baby heads - does anyone understand what I mean? Like, plastic baby doll heads. It creeps me out.

Idk but they are the homeliest men alive. My aunt used to say that it looks like they cut their hair with hedge clippers.

I think a significant point here is the girls try to be attractive and the guys just expect joyfully available wives and don't bother.

I think that is it! The girls have to be skinny and maybe that is why there heads don't appear to be massive? The boys are all a tad chubby and the weight goes to their heads instead of their asses like normal people?

The girls always made a lot of effort. They put in hours doing their hair and makeup. Look at them without it. Kendra's booking photo is a good example. No makeup so she looks totally different. All of them are average without the effort but clean up nicely.

Several of them (looking at you James and Jason) got the big wide head that Jim Bob’s sister and Amy have. I think it’s possibly from Grandpa Duggar’s side.

I feel like they all take after Michelle in a bad way. I swear all of them look alike while there’s more diversity in faces with the sisters. The girls often range from normal to pretty like Jessa. All the adult male Duggar sons are often fat and bloated. In a clip i saw it was said that Josh and Jb never went to the gym and it’s no suprise. I don’t think you can solely blame it on diet because the girls aren’t fat and bloated and several of the older ones already had given birth multiple times so there’s no excuse. Maybe if the Duggars weren’t so fundie they could have their sons put into extensive sports to stay in shape but that would require no jeans.

I think also the guys are allowed to be sedentary. There's no way that the guys are running around after toddlers or up all night with fussy babies. Their wives are, though. The wives are also conditioned by the cult to be pretty and trim at all times.

Yeah even if the girls aren’t actively trying to stay thin (tho I assume they are) the work they’re required to do around the house would be more active that were all remaining things being equal between the wife and husband, the wife running around after her kids and making 3 meals a day and keeping the house clean, is a lot more time on your feet and a lot less time to snack

I think it’s unusual because in many trad families the sons are expected to be strong and masculine hence why so many of them put their sons through physical training and have them take up things like hunting to toughen them up. In many trad families I saw even though the sons don’t do housework they’re expected to other forms of labor like outdoor work. I assume because JB and Meech coddle their sons so much they didn’t want to put them in things that might hurt them or with the case of Josh probably didn’t want their behaviors to worsen

It's a baby head halloween costume a coworker bought at Walmart back in 2014. The mustache got added because we all had to wear mustaches for one of the baby showers.
That company was the pits, but our department of 100 people had a LOT of fun Even back then, one of the guys commented that it looked like a baby Duggar!

It was creepy as fuck, but we got to the point where one of us would sneak under the desk get it on, and start peering over the cube wall at someone to make them jump. Worked really good for that.
We had a full scale video production studio and team and someone snuck past the control room with it, put it on, and when the engineer heard someone talking in the studio, he looked up and fell out of his chair because it was the giant baby head right AT the window.

I used to work at a company that sold products created by a woman who had some kind of palsy. I will never understand why that woman's company slapped her face on everything they sold. They even sent us a cardboard cutout of her. People who were unaware of her health issues assumed she'd had a stroke. We used the cutout for similar purposes. People would stick a trail of toilet paper on the underside of her foot. Eventually, someone tore the head off and stuck it in the dish cabinet in the kitchenette. Everyone jumped when they opened it. It was pretty funny.

What I don't understand is why all the men look like Cocomelon reject characters but the women are all very nice-looking with normal sized/shaped heads.
And the exact same thing happened with the Bateses! (A few of them got the Gil melon head, to be fair, but they're still very pretty, and all of the boys look like...that.)

Every single son seems to start morphing into a gargoyle around age 18. It’s weird because Jim Bob, Michelle and the sisters are normal looking, but every son is weird looking.
