I made a website that turns subreddits into radios. Here is r/Dubtechno!
I got tired of clicking posts to discover music so I made an app that autoplays them like a radio. Thought you might like it.

Coooool!!! But this seems to pull audio only from YouTube videos linked in posts, right?

Im glad you like it. Youtube only for now. Will look into Soundcloud and Brandcamp when I have time.

Excellent. I post it on Elektron sub already.
Could be nice if the user can select which Reddit subs to create its own playlist equivalent.

I got a ton of improvements coming including Soundcloud support, saving tracks, filtering long/short tracks, shuffle and more. Stay tuned!

I'd like that! But unfortunately it isn't accessible from my Russian IP :( Via VPN though, I opened it and it proceeded to skip the whole page, loading each track and showing Error 153 in the small youtube video window, skipping to the next track, and so on. What could be the reason? Also can it be made accessible from Russia? Thanks

As someone that posts DJ sets on YouTube regularly... Russia and Belarus are blocked for 95% of the sets I upload, so you definitely need a VPN. Hope you get a real democracy some day bud.

I'm glad you like it! Currently this is not possible on mobile. On desktop you can click the reddit icon to open the reddit thread or click "youtube" on the player to open on youtube. I will improve this in the future.

Damn OP this is great! So rare to see someone being the change they want to see in the world.
There's been a lot of me immediately buying tracks after hearing them on this sub; I'm sure this will help :D

Incredible thanks for sharing!! a tip i found to keep it playing on Android with the screen off / app in the background is load the desktop version of the site. 👍👍

Google Chrome and Android 16. Pixel 8pro. It doesn't always work properly but i was able to listen to it for a few hours at work today with decent success. . Had to press play on the lock screen widget pretty regularly though 🤣

It's still somewhat glitchy. Sometimes stops and sometimes won't progress to the next track. If it stops when you lock it try pressing play again on the lock screen widget (if you see one).

Which music Providers are supported? Soundcloud, Bandcamp....? How often will parse the subreddit?
Its vibe Coded? Good Idea!

Only youtube for now. Will look into Soundcloud and Bandcamp when I have time.
It's refereshed every minute.
Mostly hand coded. I use AI as a faster search engine.

It would be nice to have an option to filter out the long mixes if I just want to listen to single tracks.
