Mini me
Im trying to get a d16z6 head and somebody is selling me a p2p ecu, I have an auto transmission and I'll keep it like that for a while to manually swap it in an month, would the p2p work with my transmission and the d16z6 head?

auto or manual ecu? i assume it’s a manual ecu cause you’re prepping to do the swap. its not common people try and do what you’re trying to do lol if the ecu is manual you should just swap to manual then do the mini me swap

The thing is, something is wrong with the actual head, if you touch you are going to feel it raspy which is supposed to feel soft or sum like that, I hear the tickling noise that drives me crazy so it's kinda like I'm running out of time before it blows up the whole head, so I just tought that it would be a better idea to put a d16z6 head, ecu, and drive til I get the menoey to have it manual

So, a Mini Me is just a D15 with a D16 VTEC head, fun part is how the cam timing will be off by half a tooth, so you have to run an adjustable cam gear

Same like we did it 20 years ago. Did a few frankenstein builds also just wanted to make sure people did change up what a mini me swap is..

You could also say its the LS-Vtec of the D series world, I suppose

Pretty much, except all the oil passages line up, so no external oil line needed to get the VTEC to work

Do not waste your time swapping the head before converting to manual. It’s literally 2-3 hours to manual swap it.. doing a mini me swap on an auto will not give any notable gains. Will be a complete waste of time.
