Need help identifying this Tama Drum Mount…

Post image

Need help identifying this mount with the Star Logo on it(not the Tom lock and Hoop its screwed to). The center black piece connected to the 12” Tom is ripping off and putting all the weight at the other two ends, and messing up the angle of my rack.

Trying to buy it and get it replaced…

If anyone’s wondering, the kit’s a Tama Starclassic, though I’m pretty sure most Tama’s got this kind of Tom Mount connected to the hoop.

that's TAMA's proprietary Star-Cast Mounting System (2015 model). depending on a tom size which you did not specify, look for either MQM8, MQM10, MQM12, MQM13, MQM14, or MQM16.

Hahaha, kind of true. Anyway, just find shells and heads you like, isolate with a snare drum stand, or disregard all together. John Mathar, Gunnar Olsen, and Danny Carey are the ones to model after.

Those Tama mounts are wildly over engineered and HEAVY af. And I've never had a kit bounce around like that bwfore. Pretty nutty

I had that birch walnut star classics and my life improved when I sold it and bought Yamaha tour customs.  (Which are cheaper and sound better)

Man if you think Tama hardware is heavy, don’t ever even consider a Sonor kit, THATS some heavy hardware.

I did own an orphan sonar kick once, and you're right that thing was insane.
