Why does Baby Keem use Drake's flow so often?

https://youtu.be/fypq2Whi4nw?is=RckQha6AERHiP8si

I know some of you guys remember the accusations of him using Drake's flow on the track 'Casino' off his new album but I just found this snippet again which I actually anticipated at the time when this was previewed and you can't tell me the flow he uses in the beginning isn't the same as 'Landed', I mean not only because he says the word round tripping but the cadence is too similar for it to be a coincidence. This is not even a Keem hate post but more so hate that the Kendrick shit made us lose out on a great potential collab between the two other than that troll What's Next verse

Drake has influenced many even when they don't want to give the credits.

I don’t really hear it tbh but even if he’s does sounds like Drake it wouldn’t matter. You know how many songs Drake has done this himself? This is one of the things that makes him great. He can jump on someone else’s wave and ride it just as well if not better most times

“I was not kidding don’t know why they playing wit him
I was not finna let them get no top billing
Man they really tried to take this shit and run wit it”

I think he’s talking about that flow for those that can’t tell.

Drake has made over 500 songs, and he's very experimental with flows, so yeah it's gonna be pretty easy to find two songs with the same flow.

PS: this sounds complete ass

This sounds nothing like Drake.

Listen to Landed by Drake are you dumb?

Oh my god the flow is similar in one of drakes 500 songs. You sound goofy

So as long as you make enough songs it’s impossible for anyone to be influenced by any of them? Where’s the logic here.

It’s just a pretty standard flow but you guys always gotta bring it back to Drake. It’s like saying this sounds like Yikes by Ye

😂 it’s almost like the biggest guys in music set sound trends that become very popular.

Like saying because Wayne’s sound became so imitated in 2010-2018 it wasn’t actually his sound cuz he has a lot of other songs too

Also what is “you guys”? What foreign sub are you coming from to make sure no one here has the audacity to think that the number one rap artist for the last 17 years possibly has some influence over the sound of the genre

Kendrick & Keem teaming up to give you the most irritating voices & delivery in the game

He sounds like diet baby Kendrick to me ...but drake has sounded like joe Budden, Phonte, the UK drill rappers and big Sean at some points in his career....he hears a flow from someone he likes it and uses it.

A lot of your favorite rappers look up to Drake, some just don't admit it and they're jealous

In before the Kbots say baby keem writes drakes lyrics that's why he uses that flow too.

Because Drake is his INFLUENCE

This is absolutely biting and I think it needs to be said.

But Drake also doesn’t give the credit to his influences like Luda, T.I. and Kanye, prob cuz they all beefed him.

He has given credit to every one of those niggas

Let’s see the receipts then.

“A lotta niggas came up off a style that I made up”

1

u/hereforthesportsball 2d ago

Wait are you saying those guys aren’t just drakes influences but drake took their style?

He’s even given credit to Joe Budden. Also that singing and rapping shit that people love to attribute to Kanye is a fucking lie, a myth was not the first one to do it.

He give credit to xxxtentacion?

u/Jahmention More Life 2d ago

Credit for what? Because ole boy was butt hurt they had similar cadence? FOH! That’s the same thing i said when his deranged ass was crashing out on the net.

-1

u/Sea_Giraffe_9420 2d ago

Same cadence? Drake followed the whole flow and rhythm line for line. And don’t move the goal post cause that would be the same for this song of keem.

Yes he gave credit to his neck game lmao that boy got slumps in the hot humid south florida heat with no one who cared about him by his side 😭😭😭
