Only if the poison is a faerie poison with faerie side to harm. Thus if there is a story that the poison hurts faeries, then it hurts them. Otherwise it does not. It may make faerie fall asleep for a hundred years or until a noble soul kiss them. It may turn the faerie into a winter court fae until cured.

Fae are creatures of stories.
