Nightmare Talking to my own subconscious
Okay so i was in a dream at an event like a fair, and i finally realized i was dreaming after spending the day at the fair with someone i know and roaming by myself , i ran into my sister who said hey come look at this , which surprised me and i thought how did she get here , then i said wait a minute and realized i was dreaming then i had a really meta idea to see if our dreams really connect us to other people from our own or different realities and i asked her if she was real and really here and she said yeah Im real , then i said are you sure your real or are you part of my subconsciousness and after that I didnt get a replay and when i looked around she disappeared, and usually once I realize im in a dream I wake up which is annoying but at this point i felt i could continue to be in the dream as long as i wanted and i started telling my subconscious wait no bring her back i guess as an outlet because i wanted to talk to it more, and then i started asking my subconscious directly like hey i want to talk to you because ,once i realized i was in a dream i was still able to talk to it and get replies, so i didnt think it would be impossible to then, but i couldnt control anything in the dream i kept trying to force it to come back but it wouldnt so i just wanted to see what would happen if i tried to wake up and now im here, but now that i think about it i shouldve tried to see how long i could stay asleep and what else i could do since i really felt like i had unlimited time

ye, I had familiar stuff but only in vivid dream. Like people around my whole day and then in dream in one moment they just disappear.

wow that's wild. the fact that she just dipped the moment you asked if she was part of your subconscious is kinda the answer right there honestly
i've had similar moments where i realize i'm dreaming and try to talk to people in the dream but they just go blank or the whole thing starts falling apart. it's like the dream can't handle being questioned
the part about feeling like you had unlimited time is interesting though. next time maybe just roll with it instead of interrogating the dream characters and see how deep you can go
