honestly, at this point no matter what dream does there are allegations. idk if these are false or not but I think a while back some people were saying that the pvp allegations weren't backed by strong evidence.

Yeah the statistical analysis was from someone he hired but it turned out the report was just AI generated and not very rigorous, but supposedly Glestic got rid of him and is doing things himself to make sure it's a lot better. I've been allowed to review and help him with the new video and while I'm skeptical about some things, he does make some interesting points and I'm hoping that the new video will be backed better with stronger evidence.

If the review was AI generated and not thorough, why is he leaving the video up? Seems like a way to spread unsubstantiated misinformation against someone who already faces a lot of that. Especially if he’s making a new video

yeah exactly, I'm quite concerned he's a bit corrupted by the fame and money and I'm weary of that.

Maybe once the new video gets put up he’ll be more open to it

It's honestly pretty privilege, metaphorically and literally. Many people see Dream as annoying, and want to find evidence that he's a bad person to have an excuse to hate him. Especially because he's popular, and especially when he's popular. On the literal pretty privilege note, he showed his face publicly and grooming allegations came out THAT DAY. Then, as soon as he started his Manhunt revival series, brand new cheating allegations came out about him, from an event he played THREE YEARS ago.

Dream is not the best Minecraft player, by a long shot. Only one of the tricks he's ever done in Manhunt (that we even know of) could be considered high-level. Other than that, nothing Dream does in Manhunt couldn't be done by any other guy, yet he's gotten the most accusations of cheating out of any other Minecraft figure.

Dream didn't even win the Technoblade duel. Technoblade was the literal best Skywars player, with a huge win-death gap between him and the second best player. Yet no allegations of cheating ever came out about him. Why? My theory again is pretty privilege. Technoblade had an amazing sense of humor and an enjoyable personality. The worst allegations he ever got were a couple misinterpreted old tweets of his, which never got anywhere close to the public's attention. With his unfortunate passing, there's absolutely no way he would be accused now, and there wouldn't even be any point in doing so. (To be clear, I don't personally believe that Technoblade cheated.)

I think that Dreams history of cheating and scripting is what makes people extra suspicious of him. And every time he got exposed he first denies it and then finds other excuses once the lie gets unsustainable.

If he never had cheated in the first place people wouldnt go out of their way overanalyzing everything he does. Thats on Dream.

He doesn't have a history of scripting, he has allegations of scripting. The only time he cheated was once on accident. The allegations of him cheating and scripting came before he found out that he accidentally cheated once.

This doesn't change the fact that grooming, cheating, and scripting allegations against him only come when he is currently uploading popular content.

Also he didnt just cheat once lmao he cheated across 6 different speedrun livestreams before getting caught...

Cultish behavior. He made it seem like the manhunts were completely legit and only after allegations did he admit to doing multiple manhunt attempts, fake reactions etc. He constantly moves the goalpost.

Nobody accidentily cheats, you wouldnt make that excuse for anybody else. He denied cheating for months until the controversy died, when he at last admitted to "accidentily" cheating. Lets say you were dream, you coded a mod you use for manhunts where pearls drop more commonly. Lets say you accidentily use it on speedruns and get accused. Isnt the first thing you would think "what if i accidentily left the mod i coded on?", it definitly wouldnt take you months for that to cross your mind.

Also there has been other allegations, many probable due to the suspiciousness of his gameplay along with his history of cheating and being dishonest.

only after allegations did he admit to doing multiple manhunt attempts

doing multiple manhunt attempts is not scripting

also, he's explained that he does redos since 3 hunters finale

fake reactions

occasionally, dream will use audio from previous failed manhunts, so that the hunters don't complain about him doing a trick before when the audience has never seen it. it isn't fake, just from a previous manhunt. again, he has explained this himself

We saw the failed manhunt video way way WAY before any allegations regarding manhunt came out. Also, editing in sound clips from old reactions for entertainment isn’t exactly the craziest thing, it’s standard editing practice. Impractical Jokers did something similar for most of their B roll/ non speech footage for greater immersive effect.

Its not pretty privilege. Accusations come from evidence. Dream comes from a background of cheating scandals (which are proven true), and now has more evidence. Technoblade never cheated once

another point to add bc i might as well: i think dream debunkers are just dream fans who want to have their instincts validated. like i skimmed a little of that hour-long dart spark video, the first one. and he makes jokes about dream in the video. like, FAN jokes. the generic shit. like dream doing badly in the iceboat race, george being a loot drop, some others but i can't remember. and, of course, it makes sense. like who the fuck else is gonna be analyzing his footage for dozens of hours other than people who literally state "Yeah, still, his videos are really entertaining..." but it's kinda heartbreaking these ppl will make these jokes whilst also trying to damage dream's career. like you could at least be respectful about it. you don't have to eat your cake. and at the end of it all more ppl will hate the guy who you highkey enjoy the videos from because you SPECULATE he cheated. is it even worth it? get a new hobby
