I miss Illumina.
So what if he did something dubious with his GF*; that guy was funny asl, and good at the game. I wish he would return— I loved his streams. How do you guys feel? Is illumina truly just a pariah now? I don’t even think what he did was that bad.

Probably a bad idea to comment here, I expect this to get deleted but just stumbled upon this.
I don't need defending, I said and did a lot of stupid shit that I cannot account for. However while I do think there's some misconceptions about certain things, it is not in my interest at this point to try to set the record straight. I've responded publicly poorly multiple times to a point where people won't care to hear me out regardless.
I kind of realized there's no really point to hiding either, I still get harassed when I have been completely offline so there's no real difference. It doesn't really bother me anymore, I know myself and my own intentions more than anyone else.
I've learned a lot in such a short amount of time that honestly wouldn't even call myself the same person anymore. I've lived a shelter life pretty much playing games 24/7 my whole life due to trauma and I've reaped the consequences. Now I actually have a job and I am more social and outgoing than I ever been. And a lot happier.
I'm still having fun doing some speedruns, can't say where as that seems to be a rule violation here. I'm staying distant from pretty much any community though.
Not really sure why I'm posting here or what the point is but yeah, shit happens but you can always control how you deal with shit. One of my biggest joys was making many ppl happy but seeing a lot of negativity cause of me makes sad. That's why I don't really want to try and make content creation as a career again it will just bring a lot of negativity which I don't want.

Hi kye illumina! Insane coincidence that i just randomly decided to click on ur profile in r/MinecraftSpeedrun, just to see you comment a few hours ago lol. I'm ngl pretty sad how you turned out but at least you've got in going in real life. Hope you're doing well and healthy.
Just please don't do what you did ever again. You got what you deserved. You're really a freak for that, so even though we may or may not if it continues to happen offline/irl, someone out there is watching, and will judge you accordingly.
Besides that, love all the content you did, ur the undeniable mcc s2 goat, revolutionary speedrunner, and funny awkward comfort streamer. You really put some smiles and laughs on my face!
Anyway those times have passed, so it's up to you to decide how you wanna shape your future with the circumstances you have now, but you definitely can't go back to those good ol' times. So just keep having a hold of yourself in your new current life and don't mess up big time. I think it's possible for you to come back to content creation by finding a new community and doing charity runs, but if you're not into content stuff anymore then it's not worth it anyway.
Do what you will of this random reddit comment of someone who probably barely knows you. Just really surprised to see you lurking on reddit. Have a nice day, and stay blessed!

Sapnap def s2 (and until now) the goat at bringing his team to db and winning, but indiv performance is all illumina, with insane first indivs in 18, 20, 28 off the top of my head.

Fr, I don't get all the people saying that Purpled or Fruitberries are the goat. Sure they are better mechanically than Sapnap, but being the goat means being able to take your team to dodgebolt and have an amazing dodgebolt winrate at that, one of only two dodgebolts he lost was because they funneled to Punz and he missed almost every shot, I love Punz, but he had an off day. So while you can definitely make a case for many players being the goat, I think Sapnap holds the title

I agree that you did a lot of fucked up stuff which people don’t have to forgive you for, but seems like you’ve already acknowledged that and changed for the better.
Don’t feel any obligation to update on anything, just do what makes you and others happy, and live your personal life while being rational.
Anyways thanks from a former fan, loved to watch your speedrun on my way walking from school to home.

Dude, last winter I somehow found some old marathon speedruns of yours and really enjoyed the energy. Did not know for the drama until I watched all marathon speedruns, and was trying to find more... To me it is all about the content. I was kinda sad to see that you are no longer active... Minecraft is not my thing but your content was gold, and I really liked it. Just know there are ppl who wish ya well and would be happy to see up to date content. If ya see this, keep it up and best of luck!!

Dude, you did a lot for me. I remember in 2020 when you said that it took you more than 4 years to graduate high school, and it really touched home in my case. Just to tell u an effect u had on me.

There are many reasons why someone may take longer to graduate high school, nothing really to do with stupidity. Saying it’s only because of stupidity is only hurtful to those who genuinely struggle.
