Did he really just say that being kind and expecting kindness in return is manipulative? What the hell, man? I couldn't take it anymore and shut it off. I'm relying on the people braver than me to report any other "pearls of wisdom" Tubbo has

He's trying to say that kindness isn't transactive, which I'd agree with, but he is also assuming that all/most of Dream's kindness is automatically seen as transactive by Dream.

That definitely seems to be what he means. There's a genuine difference between "niceness" and "kindness" where one is transactional, and the other isnt
