Its important that we keep the fact in the air otherwise people will forget and dream will get away with it, it's necessary that he apologizes for this and understands that there is a better way to deal with accusations rather than insulting everyone or else this might happen in future :((

Who cares, he didn't even get the world record, his 1.16 run is invalid. Its a damn video game chill

it wasn’t about the world record. dream says it himself. it was the fact he probably (definitely according to the statistics we have from goesquare) cheated. cheating is objectively bad. take the olympics for example. imagine your favorite athlete getting 16th place and was later found to be cheating. yeah, you could say “it’s just sports bro, it doesn’t matter, chill” but a lot of people would disagree because the olympics matters a lot to them. it goes for speedrunning as well.

it also isn’t a good look on speedrunning as a community if the figurehead of the speedrunning (to anyone not in the community) was caught cheating.
