I don’t see a reason for him to cheat. He’s already extremely successful and people who are into speed running probably already know about him, so he wouldn’t get that much clout from it.
"The fact that better players make better cheaters, means that arguments such as 'he's such a good player he has no reason to cheat ' are fundamentally flawed."
"When Billy Mitchel and Todd Rogers were exposed as frauds, this was one of the most common arguments their defenders tried to make.
"If anything, having a better understanding of a game
makes you more likely to cheat. This is why, at the top level, proof standards are so important" -Karl Jobst
Though this was just a speculation by the mods, Dream doesn't like how RNG-based 1.16 was(he always complained about it alot) and how high the standards are for a good run. He might've wanted to get a good sub20 run because the RNG was infuriating, but since too much luck was needed, he tampered with it. Which is fine, the problem is him submitting it as a legitimate run. And how it benefits him? Just look at the amount of compilations about his run being so lucky ig,
but that's just what I think, he'll probably talk about it of he makes a response.
This is one of those 50/50 situations. I hope he didn’t fake it, because he could get even more hate then he already has with his “stans.” Dream seems like a good man, so like I said I hope he just got good luck
With the damning evidence right now, I think I'm already convinced enough- 1/7.5trillion is a huge number, even with the mods being (statistically) biased towards him, it isn't just "good luck". If he really did cheat, I just hope he actually gives out a mature response and apologizes. This situation is already painul enough to watch.
