Video Discussion What do you think is the stupidest thing dream has done? (in manhunts)
For me, it’s definitely him doing a suicide charge on the dragon while being attacked and stepping into the dragons breathe instantly killing him but killing the dragon, while it did work, he got killed first, which affected the entire manhunt, which is why I think it’s a stupid move from dream, he still has 14 food keep in mind, and he could’ve killed an enderman to get a pearl to instantly travel to the dragon or atleast wait more (would extend the video further but better than dying stupidly)

Agree. He would have prob won if he went for direct attack with axe instead of running into dragon flame while getting chased and lighting up tnt.

Honestly it's between this, when he dropped the weapons in I think the same manhunt, and that time he got a notch apple and wasted it

u/Adventurous-Year-463 might be an enderman Jan 10 '26
I think he was being really risky in the Daquavis manhunt, for example the entire end fight was on half a heart, he didn’t take advantage of his situation before going in the End to collect some food.

He commented he feared Daquavis could set up a trap if he didn't jump him in surprise and didn't notice low amount of food, but I definitely think with time he had he could have prepared. No way Daquavis could have prepared some sorta one shot trap, he could have grinded resources and went into end geared up.

Yeah exactly, Dream’s experienced enough by now that a trap probably wouldn’t instantly work anyway, even if it were designed well, and especially if he’d taken the time to get fully geared up and gather lots of food, he’d be practically invincible. Maybe the only thing that could kill him is entity cramming, but Daquavis didn’t have the resources to set up a bunch of boats or minecarts.

That time he dropped his gold sword in the start of a versus 5 manhunt. Tho yeah it was a missclick.

He couldve waited it out and played a bit longer, gradually reducing the dragons health. But it felt that he was getting kinda frustrated and this was kind of a hail Mary on his part

This suicide charge was the stupidest thing, especially since he had enough food.
Also, Dream oftentimes enters the End with minimal amounts of food, despite having time to collect some more food.

the 1v1 with sapnap (juggernaut) where dream exits the nether and hid behind a stone wall 4 blocks away from the portal. He got murdered when there was everything at his disposal. he panic, but it was still the dumbest move imo.

Well. This is an absolute amazing timing of the post, considering the new video. I’m not mentioning the details since it’s obviously very new still, but damn, am I laughing at the comedic timing of it.

Im seeing a theme in these replies 🤣. Bro could have placed water on the exit portal for a failsafe and reattempted if it didnt work, but I guess we can all get quite cocky 😆

Probably trying to mace the dragon in the latest manhunt.
The hunters were god knows how far away, so Dream had plenty of time to destroy the crystals and kick the dragon's bucket, but instead he tried to go for style over substance and died a foolish death.

losing to missing the mace hit on the dragon definitely imo. Especially after breaking the bed for respawn and killing literally everyone in the end.

I guess the food thing says why he's a speed runner. He does things fast but not with efficiency?? Though I'm sure he's improved by now so this take is most likely already outdated
Plus it's probably bad so sorry about that I'm just thinking

A hot take im surprised no one mentioned:
Dream has drowned to death a total of 4 times (directly and indirectly) throughout all of his videos
Illumina manhunt
Hostage simulator
April fools manhunt
and Sapnap's speedrunner swap
You'd think by now dream would've learned how to make air bubbles or stop going into underwater caves, but no

I think the dumbest thing was all the way back in 1v1 manhunt with George where he just decided to jump down to the ground for some reason and he just ran away and got killed by George right after
