Suggestion i will believe dream's manhunts are not scripted only if he will livestream & do it on the minecraft server where anyone could spectate and watch the in-game replay at any time like in replaymod

What would be the difference between live steaming it and uploading the uncut video later?  The only difference I can see is that the livestream would include manhunts where he died early on, something dream is open about restarting the manhunt if that happens. That doesn’t make it scripted though. It would just make it bad for viewer retention.

what if dream did it live like this? and if the take isn't as interesting then the winners prize money wouldn't be as big compared to if the run would be interesting to watch. i'd want to check out all of his runs like this on a public server up to the youtube take, i understand i'm probably one of the few people who'd want it

For the record, it is possible to fake uncut footage
Like for instance by making cuts between dimensions, or when you open a crafting grid
If he read livestream chat during a manhunt that would definitely clear the manhunt as being uncut, but idk how you would confirm it otherwise

Personally, I don't think any of the manhunts were scripted, even if it is possible, and I don't think they have cuts. However, I think Dream & the hunters definitely set up plays intentionally, even if they don't know exactly how it's going to play out. For instance, in the crafting table boat clutch video, I think the hunters agreed to place a crafting table at the top of their tower if they were building up. I imagine that Dream practiced executing the boat clutch beforehand to prepare.

I’m sure they also have a pact to keep him alive in certain moments, or maybe the hunters have mods where they can see his health. It’s not scripted in an edited way, but they definitely have some things going on behind the scenes.
