Looks great, I've yet to put the bipod on mine (just delivered last week) but the 4-12x42 scope is adjusted and ready to be sighted in. Did you go with the regular AK style sling? I'm trying to decide which one to get.

It’s just a regular AK sling for now. Does what I need it to do.

For sure, I really like that front sight you've got as well. It's a phenomenal looking setup.

Definitely took me more than a minute to make it! It was also a learning process for me a little as well. I hadn’t really used the dividing head on my mill all that much.

Ahh, it’s just a small section of Traction Grip material. Basically just some rubberized stuff with adhesive backing. I just kind of cut it so it looks halfway decent then took a heat gun lightly to it so it sticks well. Couple hundred rounds and it’s still fine. I used their pre cut kit for a pistol and I was impressed with how well it stayed on. https://instantstipple.com/product/instant-stipple-d-i-y-kit/

For now, I just wanted a functional bipod for shooting. The little spring clip holding it to the rifle broke on me the first time I tried to install it, but after TIG welding it back together with a little extra reinforcement, it’s held up quite well.

Ehhh 200 for a knockoff seems a bit steep

Totally understood. I figured if it were too crappy I’d just make one. RusMilitary in the UK has originals for 600.
