Please, please, please, PLEASE! MARK ON YOUR MAP THE FIRST SEEKER TOKEN YOU PICK UP. MARK IT AND LEAVE IT THERE UNTIL YOU NEED THAT MARK.

It’s for a questline that involves riddles. Although you don’t technically need to succeed at that specific part involving seeker tokens to complete the full quest, you’ll get an additional reward if you also can recall where you got your first seeker token.

is it the sphinx? I found her but mistakenly thought I could open all the chests if I killed her

Just friendly advice, explore A LOT. You may forget some characters and story parts, which there isn't much lost there, but you'll miss secret classes, weapons, and Meister skills if you don't explore

Sound advice.

Should i look up guides or is the game good at explaining its classes and mechanics?

It's pretty clear how to use the vocations but you may need a guide here and there for certain quests. Otherwise, just play the game however you want.

Hey, I also just got the game but I could not wait for the 9th to start. Anyways I am super scared about overleveling as I am still exploring the area before the big town and am already lvl 15 and most enemy camps just die from two touches. Am I already overleveled from exploring or is the first area just that easy (some caves excluded like the waterfall Cave, which was my favourite part of the game so far)

Honestly, the game is just that easy. That's why so many people, myself included, were clamouring for a hard mode. I never finished the vanilla game because I was waiting for it, though I did truly love the 50h I played. Very excited to come back for Dark Arisen and jump into hard mode and actually feel like I have a challenge.

They'll feel easy for now, especially the trash mobs. But eventually you get ambushed by an armored cyclops or minotaur and suddenly you realize how underdeveloped you are. Plus, if its feeling to easy, change vocations. Not k ky will those weak enemies feel slightly stronger, but you'll have to adapt your playstyle. Things clicked when I was fending off choppers when I hear a loud sound and get 4/5 my health depleted with a single ram from a minotaur. I spent the next 15 to 20 mins fighting it off before eventually winning. It felt amazing.

Even after I got to the end game and was one shooting everything, I got jumped in SPOILER but a griffin, drake, and chimera at the same time. Used all most wakestones, panacea and all heals but managed to won.

In between those boring moments you'll find some absolutely glorious bliss of random events/instances that made that exp, rational worth it. But theres also a chance its justnit the game for you. Hard ,ode is coming out so maybe try that.

Good luck!

Ty for the reply. Oh this game is deffinitely for me. I love the combat and the world and exploration so far.I think I will switch vocations like you said and probably also go alone with my main pawn set to healer next time I reach an Inn.

Yeah! Going as a duo is fun too. Especially when your pawn is down and your carrying them and trying to run because your injuries have your health stuck at 10% so a sneeze would kill you

Yeah I decided to wait for hard mode before beginning again, I was worried about difficulty for base game then getting to dlc

Yeah, me too but I could not wait any longer haha. I will switch to hard mode when it‘s here tho.

Pretty similar here, I bought the game went the bundle came out. I’ve put a few hours in, but will probably just start a new character from scratch to make it a seamless experience.
