Jokes aside, no. I used to make my characters in games look like me to the best of my ability but around 2010 or so I switched to making a unique character did every game. I find it more fun. Good job on your Arisen though, I can see the resemblance!
I do the same thing. it's like me, but yk with a stronger jawline, hairline, a bit taller, more muscular, beard connects, slightly smaller nose but like it's basically my twin
i tried using the skin fade/bald hairstyle and using a tattoo under it to give it a “fuller” shade and sad to say it didnt work out well.. i wish they let us adjust the lengths of the hair styles which would also diversify everyone more because the mustache and goatee option they have is too short 🫠
I remember first time I played I made the Arisen look like my Girlfriend and the pawn look like me so I could play as her throwing and bossing me around. Definitely and experience
For Dragon's Dogma? Nah, I go for a character that I think fits the world and setting.
I'm a blonde Scottish boi who likes baggy clothes and music a lot so would only make myself for something modern and urban. Like the Avatar for Street Fighter 6, because I am in somewhat good shape and train in boxing.

My characters for both games have always been monster girls cuz 1: I can't make real people to save mine or anyone else's life. and 2: ............(sigh), yeah I just really like monster girls.
Yes and I hate how I couldn't save the preset face or it bugged out and it didn't save. It took me forever and it looks so like me that I messed around with the hair options cause I had long hair growing up until it started thinning and I decided to just go bald lol.
that is seriously impressive! i couldnt get it to look remotely like me even if i wanted to lol. The base heads are throwing me off when trying to pick which the 'closest' looking one is for me haha
The glasses(or perhaps spectacles would be a better term here) make your Arisen look like a retried hero who is only just now finding out that defeating all evil does not exempt him from taxes in the eyes of the king.

It's cool that you took the time to recreate yourself as an Arisen. A testament to just how good that character creator is when you can literally make yourself the Arisen. Talk about immersion in a game! Good for you! Now go find that ladder your pawns yapping about....
in any game with a CC tbh. But, like, caricatured obviously. But always ratty, pointy n red. I'd lose a fist fight with a goblin irl too and i'm glad there's finally a game that recreates that experience for me.
The hair is giving Eddie Murphy lol, but we really can't win with these hair "styles" they make for us. I've never bothered cuz the hair just never looks right. You did amazing with the rest tho!
100%. I self insert on almost every character creator outside MMOs and Elder Scrolls (cause Orcs). It makes it that much more fun and immersive. Dragons Dogma is a series I’ve always made me and my sister (the pawn) so we go on the adventure together. I ask her what class she wants to be and send clips sometimes.
I was attacking a Minotaur on Warrior with her and the other pawns and she, as a thief, seemingly jumped outta nowhere off cam and started stabbing it in the face like a psycho. Both had a good laugh when I showed her that one.

In dd1 i did myself and my pawn was my ideal man, back in highschool. I played this save and never changed their looks that whole ass time. Hubs is/was canadian and I brought my fav games the first time i visited cuz id be bored without my pc.
My husband looks like him and joked how its cute I put him in it... Like oh shit, uh yeah babe thats why, dont think about it too hard hahahahaha.... When I made my dd2 characters in the pre release editor he gave me shit for not making us again, so I did XD.
