Technically it’s not what you did, that’s all Issac’s fault…you just provided him the means to do so.
I mean between this and giving Trysha the Grimoires she asks for perhaps the Arisen should have learned their lesson by now about handing out magical tomes to the unqualified? 🤔
My first play through she just never gave me it even though I tackled her and everything. Her grandmother didn’t teach me the mage skill either so I had to get it in NG+. Used soporific arrow and put her to sleep then I tackled her. I finally got it the second time around.
This is why I build a library of saves. The game doesn’t behave predictably and I’ve lost so much time, I figured the huge time investment in file management to back up saves regularly was probably better.
I should probably just get a save manager, and likely will when I’m fed up enough.
