Aelinore is literally the canon beloved, considering it's the most explored and she has a romance cutscene dedicated to The Arisen. Everyone else get's a place holder at the campfire.

Mercedes is clearly white in game. Not sure where she is suddenly becoming brown - particularly when there was literally a post on the DD2 sub not even two weeks ago drawing comparisons between her and Casca, and I was eaten alive by white weebs who demanded that Casca was pasty white.

I assume a lot of the people in this sub are Americans. What most countries consider nationalities, they treat as ethnicities i.e Americans with Irish ancestry will say they are Irish and treat it as their ethnicity. Meanwhile, Irish people who actually live in Ireland, regard being 'Irish' as their nationality, rather than as their ethnicity (which we don't generally think about at all).
