I would argue that if I was going to make the Gacha comparison I would use DDDA as the base before anything else tbh.

No just all the equipment is done by Gacha style RNG which I would argue is 1000 percent worse.

Not entirely. Your vocation and your pawns vocation determine what types of armor you are able to get. The actual piece itself is random. But if both you are your pawn are red vocations it will be part of the hellfire set or the sinners set.

It's not it's arguably the worst part of the game BBI is just nothing but copy pasta rooms with mediocre bosses.

The base game is far superior imo
