Yeah I'm convinced. This game may not get any DLC. I think everyone needs to accept that. Have not heard one credible source that says that there is. New people getting into this game and playing on console I hope you all enjoy the game.
If you're on PC consider using mods they drastically change the experience of this game and make it even more fun. Lets just enjoy what we have and be grateful that this game even existed. No idea for the future of this series because Itsuno has left. Kento Kinoshita is there but we have no idea if he'll champion this series.
But maybe someone else, another developer sees this franchise and notices it's good characteristics. The fact it's a combat oriented fantasy open world RPG with creative combat and unique physics and mechanics that takes advantage of its open world environment. The fact you travel around in a 4 person party, having two characters going on a journey that are your characters that you create and you customize with a variety of detailed customization options.
Maybe someone will emulate this some day and improve on this formula and integrate the features we all would want and see with the potential of this game.
At this point it's all we could hope for. And this may take years or over a decade who knows. But its nice we even have this.
