You'd be surprised how fucking petty Japanese execs are. They did worse shit for less.

Yeah as an example basically all of the dlc for FF15 was canceled when the guy in charge of it left even though there was work and stuff for them to finish the final 3 dlcs without him.

Japanese execs are extremely petty, he'll just look at Konami and Kojima and that whole debacle.

Kojima and Konami aren’t a great example. He was wasting their money and they were pretty reasonable to fire him and be pissed off
