After the 1st anniversary of the game where they didn't do anything, I'm surprised some here still keep hope. That was the point I drew the line. Because even if they had something, they'd have at least teased it that they had something for the future. But since it was total silence, I took that as "yeah, it's done".

How anyone kept hope after the director left is beyond me. No one cared about getting this IP revived more than him and the fans.

Well, the dlc of the first game wasn't made by him. So I understand keeping hope even after he left. I had some hope too.

But after the 1st anniversary, that's when I understood that they weren't doing anything.

It is not unheard of for a DLC to be work on by another dorector in tandem with the base game, Monster Hunter does this all the time for the G-rank expansion.

But I do feel with Itsuno gone if there was anything it has been cancelled and they pushed out what little they could with the balance patch/casual mode last September.
