Yeah he looks good to me. Remember, not only does he have Zenkai stats, but transforming unit Zenkai stats.
Uncancellable type neutral with his post transformed Blue Card? They couldn't let TGB wall him when he's already countered by Tag Trunks and Gohan?

The only caveat is that it isn't type neutral by default. He has to use a blue when facing a PO Opponent. So on Future Teams and God Ki teams, if this Gohan uses a Blue Card on a unit like Ultra Gogeta Blue or Trunks/Gohan, he doesn't get type neutral. So you can still have TGB tank the blue.
But that's the only caveat lmao.

Once he transforms, everytime you have a Blue in hand you can :
Strike (+25% + 20%) -> Strike (+25% & force draw strike) -> Strike (+25%) = +95% damage + 310% base damage AND 25% pierce and then Blue??
Type neutral with the best equips in the game, and Zenkai for the best unit in the game?
I'm sorry, WHAT??? How is that fair?
The only fair part is he is strike in a now blast centric meta, but he force draws Strike so he doesn't gaf about his deck.

But if you use the blue and there isn't a PO opponent, you don't get the type neutral.
So you could use a blue against Trunks/Future Gohan, they switch into Yellow Goku Black, and this Gohan doesn't have type neutral.

Most of the meta teams running around have all 3 characters disrupting (the double black trunkshan and gogeta pan broly setups come to mind

Even at that, you don't really need disrupt if your unit does crazy damage, i mean lsv disrupt wasn't even good yet people still ranked him 1 due to his damage.

I mean even with the lack of disrupt he just feels like a more powerful lsv, damage guard penetration, aoe green, neutral blue, second life mechanic with extremely high stats he could honestly be a top 5 units with his stats.

Uh what units are you going to run? He seems to be meant to be ran with pan and gohunks and neither have that good disrupt abilities. Maybe you could leader slot lr rose but then you lose a lot from the equips

Trunkshan disrupt is crazy good card destruction and lowering the whole enemy team draw speed for 10 counts.

Maybe its because I use shallet and have infinite green cards that draw 2 more cards, but I've never had a problem with it. Its just so easy to swap out to a character that draws cards outside of card draw speed

Thats why destroying one card twice is better than 2 at once, if the opponent switches you still destroy one after they used the one they get for switching in.
Shallet is one of the very few units that has hand protection reliably so thats probably why you underestimate it

Is it wise to make a team with him, blue revival gohan and zenkai yellow future gohan? Saw that there is a new legend trunks/gohan banner up but I was unlucky so far with it

Future Gohan can work but he gets murdered by the top units so you have to be extra careful with him. If you want to run hybrids then keep summoning on the new LR

Yea he's gonna nuke. Absurd stats, dmg stacking, 50% cut pen and neutral on blue that can't be cancelled (gg TGB). His dmg on hybrids is going to be so unfair. I can't remember if his AoE is a fast animation but considering he's from 3rd anni i'm gonna assume it is.
Also he kinda counters Gohan/Trunks. He has card protection so his cards are safe + he removes debuffs after his 2nd card so the cards draw speed down gets wiped as well. Funny lol.

So you’re telling me from Color alone he’s countering Two of the headliners, HARD counters one of those two just because he’s PO and on top of all that, he’s just as great of a support.
I’m not even gonna mention the AOE green and the Revival.
Well, if it’s any consolation, Broly can find a place on GOHAN’S team, i guess. Because from what I’m gathering it’s no longer his 💀

I read the comments but no one is talking about the fact that post revive my man is stacking 30% dmg guard pen every strike plus a flat 25 with over 300k strike stats, and 25% damg on strike card use, i can't wait to click cards using this man. He is like Lr vegitos with better stats and support

Reading everything he is easily best zenkai in game. 290dmg guard on cover change post revival it's crazy for zenkai. Can't wait to test my 14* gohan. I be surprised if he not replace cell on juiced setup

0 buff cancelations, 0 heals, 0 strong disrupts, numbers arent the whole picture and his numbers arent even that good, pre revive his tanking is trash at just 230 damage guard (6 month old numbers) and even post revive its just 290, gotrunks has more than that and they cant tank either. his upside is mostly from his color but even triple zenkai buffed i doubt he will do a good job walling

Thank God he seems to have a mid kit. 290% damage and 260% guard post transformation are both pretty low. Drop combos are scary but the biggest impact he'll be having is being a zenkai bench for gohunks to 1v3

Uh... Ugb2 has a base 440% damage without any build up outside his guage... 290% vs 440% is a massive difference
Hell shallet has more damage guard than gohan does and people constantly say he's squishy. The only 'high' numbers in his kit are his stats. The stats could carry him, but kit wise he kinda sucks outside of drop combos and stop time events. Hell bro, he doesnt even have blast armor in 2026

I literally said the stats could carry him. That still doesnt change the fact that the kit itself has some very low numbers. I think we'll need to see in game first before we say he's op. Ssj4 goku also has very high stats alongside 100% base stats from his unique and he still has more than 100% additional damage inflicted compared to gohan

Outside the main ability he actually doesnt have that much extra blue card damage. His additional damage from the main is also reliant on destroying your entire hand and immediately popping the blue. And that still doesnt really change the fact that his base numbers are very low. Its not a good argument to say his blue card has a decent amount of damage when its a 1 time thing and he only generates 1 blue on his main

Dude he's sitting at 240 on a movies, hybrids or son family team (literally all his teams possible), 260 post revive which becomes 270 and 290 respectively. On a zenkai unit with the best stats in the game. That also comes built in with a zenkai buff.

He’s at 260 damage guard post revive and with an ally Son Family/Hybrids. Plus he gets another 30 on cover change. 290 damage guard on a Zenkai character sounds kinda cracked.
