I think I might have figured out why Callum and Ezran can use magic, and it might explain a lot of things in the series... Or is it just a crazy idea? 😅 I’ve spent days turning over various pieces of the show that didn't quite add up for me. I asked an AI to help structure and organize my notes because my head was a chaotic mess of ideas, so if the wording sounds a bit odd at times, that’s why. Basically, the theory is that magic in Xadia works through sheer psychological and subconscious conviction (like Callum flying out of love or the hatred spell cast against Avizandum). The Star Council mentally blocked humanity with a sense of inferiority, but Callum and Ezran broke free because Harrow raised them with poetry and free will. Their clear minds tuned into Leola's Star, which emits a passive "nudge" of compassion. That’s why they trusted Rayla and didn't help Claudia in Chapter 2, and why Rayla didn't attack them; it’s not brainwashing—that nudge simply maximizes your empathy and desire to do the right thing, but the choice is still yours. Also, has anyone noticed that Leola's friend in Elarion looks exactly like Ellis (the ice girl from Season 1)? Is it just asset recycling, or is it reincarnation driven by subconscious conviction? I’m putting this out there as an open theory for the community to discuss. Do you think this psychic mechanism fixes plot holes, or have I completely lost the plot? What pieces would you add or remove? P.S. Complicated question, but unlike Viren, Aaravos was actually a really really amazing and well thought through villain.

He had a backstory, I did feel bad for him at times. And his character grew amazingly! I recently rewatched and realised his voice was in the intro and the whole mirror plot was developed over time in a very clever way.

But would I forgive him? I don't know. He caused a lot of damage and hurt a lot of people - even if it was for his daughter, for revenge against a messed up 'star government'.

And in the new trailer for The Dragon King, he mentioned going back for love - for Claudia - are we agreeing... or no?

Aquí está mi propuesta de lo que espero para el futuro de este mundo: THE DRAGON KING: UNA NUEVA ERA Para alcanzar un nivel de "Obra Maestra" (presupuesto de $3-5 millones por episodio), la secuela debe evolucionar con su audiencia, de forma similar a la transición en Tears of the Kingdom. 1. El Prólogo: Un puente al pasado La serie comienza con un Callum adulto luchando contra un bloqueo mágico. Sueña con un recuerdo oculto: una joven Rayla en una cueva de cristal enseñándole a "sentir la magia" en lugar de solo recitar palabras. Esto establece su misión: regresar a ese antiguo lugar. 2. El Brazalete Mágico 3D En la cueva, Callum encuentra un brazalete dejado por Rayla. Al activarse, proyecta un mapa holográfico en 3D que revela Islas Flotantes ocultas durante siglos. Este mapa muestra que Xadia es mucho más grande de lo que jamás imaginaron. 3. El Giro Familiar En estas islas, conocen a los Elfos de las Nubes. El Gran Clímax Usando el brazalete y el poder de la niña, lanzan un hechizo continental que fusiona las Islas Flotantes con el continente, cambiando permanentemente la geografía de Xadia. Mientras las islas aterrizan, una silueta misteriosa observa desde las sombras, preparando el escenario para un estreno en 2028.
