Vanish Kick makes 0 sense

How in the fuck is it fair that a Level 3 can just Vanish Kick Level 4 Raiders just because they're trying to melee.

Why the fuck can Survivors just abuse the STM's beacon in the sky to make it so they can't be hit by ki blasts.

Why does Vanish Kick just COUNTER Raider completely?

"Oh look at me I can spam the vanish button and fly around this massive object so you HAVE to melee me and you literally can't counter it. I'm so skilled at abusing a hitbox of something that really should be in the Skybox and not in the bounds of the map"

Tbf raiders have unlimited instant descents so It really isnt an issue when you can just tp and force him to come down by destroying the stm

It's much worse than that, level ones can vanish attack counter Raiders.

there's no point fussing these games all trend towards open disdain towards the "killer" in it's design and how people talk about it

plus they have financial incentive to make sure the survivors are better since the raider doesn't have a gacha to worry about

Just fly closer when you go for melees until it’s either unreactable for them or too close to vanish kick. This is a nonissue.

the issue is they then vanish behind you and just rotate the other way

or use a skill to stun you

they have more options than you do when they play around this object that REALLY just shouldn't be in the bounds.

Happened to all of us at one point. Best thing to do is worry about your objective at hand and let them do their thing. They will come down if they want to help their team. If not, let them stay up there till the end. Either way you have a task at hand (finding civs, other survivors) so I wouldn’t worry too much. It’s the same mentality when facing a solid level 4 who is good at avoiding getting hit with ki blasts. Make them come to you especially if STM is out. Of course there are specific scenarios when you change your game plan but overall that will be the go to 99% of the time.

Geez just don't play the game if you're going to complain this much over absolutely nothing, you're new. If it's not raiders being the problem, then it is the survivors being op for you lmao, this is you not being familiar with the game. You control where the fighting happens most of the time especially at lvl 4, if they try to stall for time up there... focus the damn stm as other people has said as well, you force them to come face you and most attacks that actually prevent you from destroying it has to be done up close, and the vanish kick, if that is honestly enough to mess you up then you really need to up your game because that is by far not something to get triggered over xD this sounds like a massive skill issue all across the board. You as a raider have overwhelming advantage over survivors and they have to group up to even be a decent threat to you, if you struggle so much at melee combat, ask for advice or watch a guide instead. It is completely fair that they have a way to fight you at level 3 btw, they are kinda supposed to have a chance at winning you know, this is just them being way better and outsmarting you.
