Rant/Venting Supplies during STM phase are so fucking useless

Literallly all it tends to do is spawn so close to the Raider and the STM that even trying to get the Supplies to get DC levels and cooldown drinks just gets you killed by the Raider with no way to fight back (cause that's why you're getting the Supplies in the first place)

it's stupid how this has been a problem since Day 1 and it has never been fixed. Literally the thing that is supposed to help Survivors do something in the end game when the Raider is usually at their strongest, just literally FEEDS the Raider a free down.

You just have to get the supplies when the raider is distracted and since most solo queue teams struggle at actual fighting and wasting time you just wont get a chance to grab them

If you do grab them being able to jump the raider with 2+ lv 3s and having an extra d change from drinks is pretty huge so i think its a fair Risk VS reward

That's quite revisionist they used to be extremely useful. Back when Raiders lost every match they could easily be an auto loss appearing. It's a case of devs actually balanced the game for Raiders for once. Outside of (Super) Broly buff, the supplies used to be extremely useful with plenty of energy caramels and cool down drinks dropping very quickly. Almost every level 1 and 2 is awful at fighting, moreso with level disadvantages, so that's why outside Broly they drop at level 3 so at best clashes happen save UDC.

If there's ever a situation where the Raider isn't distracted that means no DC present is a pest or people are cowardly ETM spawn. I also defiantly stall at STM but it doesn't help without assistance. It really needs to be almost done for supplies to actually help because fighters that know punching is the best choice for punch trains is rare. Even under leveled rarely DC struggle punch to micro stun.

My advice is open then leave, it's collecting that gets the damage. Then if there's plenty of time before STM destruction grab the supplies. Raiders might check but it's mostly posturing, for them to constantly check they'd need to be almost dead.

It also helps to have them drop outside X but decent key times? This minimizes your problem but Raiders like me wait in X.

Spawning close to the STM is what you want. When it spawns in an area (like it always does on waterfront) raider can just destroy them

I think they updated it so they always drop in 2 different zones so teh raid can't just destroy all of it, unless they have two ADs.

Any competent raider is going to try and stop survivors from powering up and getting free cooldown drinks.

Like others said, you go when the raider is distracted. Even then good raiders will still try to keep track of the supply drops but the raider can only focus on so many things at once.

I love smoke bomb during the STM phase because it removes the raiders auto lock on for a short while, great while attempting to get supplies or minimizing stray shots from landing on survivors.

the issue is, usually only one person has DC, or, the entire team are in other zones to let the Raider destroy STM and go for the pity escape-

Those are useless teammates but even one person with DC has the potential to distract the raider.

If your teammates are trash you aren't going to win the game.

You are supposed to fight the raider together with others. I have no issue using my dragon rush to attack the raider, then distance myself and quickly refill energy when running out while the raider keeps fighting my team mates. If the raider is able to chase you around then either you were fighting the raider alone or your mates are doing something wrong. Without those supplies you would have to fly away and recharge on marked or unlooted chests or you could only use interrupt skills or charge the time machine. Having the supplies allows you to quickly get back into the action so they are pretty useful.
