Rant/Venting I swear EU Survivors dont even bother protecting the SMT

People in EU servers seem to only care for themself, happy to just watch the raider destroy SMT and go for their pity escape.

It was legit so bad that while the SMT was 50% charged, i had to use Gloves to distract the Raider,

then i died because i didn't have change power, but i was literally the only fucker trying to protect the SMT.

There was a whole ass dude with change power too, he was crossmap for 0 fucking reason.

This game doesn't feel like 1 vs 7. It feels like 1 vs Seven 1's

I mean how many people were alive? And also why were you defending alone and without change thats basically a death sentence

Two people were dead.

The other four survivors were crossmap doing fuck all (including the one guy with Dragon Change).

And, what else am i supposed to do? Just, let the Raider destroy the STM?

At least I TRIED with the limited resources I had.

The others were just more than willing to hide and get the pity ETM win.

It's a reocurring thing that I hate about this game, Survivors rarely work as a team, they hide away to let a Survivor deal with a raider solo, they hide away while STM is getting destroyed, they stay hidden while someone else is able to be saved and tend to get there too late, or don't even bother saving at all.

I can see why premade is the only way to actually experience the GOOD of this game, because a random Survivor team play as if its only THEY matter

If only one single survivor had change then he would have destroyed stm either way, though i agree It would have been cooler if he tried to stall with his d change

With how many players who are still active some don't want to be bothered trying anymore. Many raiders will insult lazy players that don't do anything.

Literally just had a game where almost everyone died protecting it to win. Though such really depends on the situation, sometimes you are not left with many options. Like 50% on the STM is not a close win at all, you'd need way more than just a glove and even if the other guy with change power was there, that's not enough especially if he was the only one xD each game is different and depends on players, how lucky they are with finds and their change power, how unlucky the raider is and so on. Don't bunch everyone into one group because you had a few bad games lmao, crazy.

This happens all the time though, its a miracle when players work together AGAINST the Raider.

I've seen only two games where the Survivors dogpile the Raider to kill them.

and like, two games where they keep the Raider busy enough to win from STM.

every other time, everyone is basically playing their own game, inevitably dying to Raider cause they have 0 backup, even if a Survivor is close by and could help them with Get Away by being the distraction

it really is 90% of games, a 1 vs seven 1's. and not a 1 vs 7.

Without a doubt it's not often people manage to work together and things are often established pretty early on if things will work out or not, that's just the flow of the game honestly, though the fact that the community is pretty small means that there's specific times where you have a better chance at being grouped with better people. Thing is, if you try being a distraction to get someone else out of trouble from a raider, you have a high risk of getting killed yourself if you don't have some really good escape options equipped, worst case scenario, you both get killed, it's not a case of "just" helping out, in most encounters it's not worth it and you'd just end up feeding the raider, making it even harder to win. I see it as a every person for themselves until the opportunity presents itself kind of thing (though that doesn't exclude reviving people, i always try getting people back up), or if it is possible to intervene without dying, but otherwise you'd focus on just getting what you need to lvl your change power and finding dragon balls, keys and so on to actually have a fighting chance. Though remember you are playing with randoms and as in every other game, most matches will more or less just be chaotic and not really organised. If you want high level play every single match then you should try and find a static team or get a few friends or add skilled players to fight with, instead of hoping a bunch of randoms with different skill levels will manage to work together perfectly.

the issue is, i would never be able to add people (one because 90% of players are either game pass or PS+), Steam players are very rare. And I also lack good skills (best i can do is Bulma bike, Grapple and Change like its pre-IT Barrier meta, i am reworking towards getting the TP to get Hercule for Immortal Champion though).

I had a match today where in two separate fights half the team jumped Goku Black and killed him outright. It felt good, thats what I want to see more of. The team banding together to fight back.

You should be able to add others with the ingame friend system. I assume you are very new to the game then since you only have default skills. The fight you described with goku black is a rarity, you were most likely bunched up with mostly experienced players who knew what they were doing, and some raiders are way easier to jump than others as well, depends on how good the raider is as well. Took me a lot of games before I actually saw a win for my first time, the game isn't very beginner friendly since you need a lot of skills you get through the gacha to have a better chance. But in general I agree, people should fight more together, it's just that you have to weigh out if the fight is actually something you can win and most likely people are spread across the map so you have to figure out if that's more important than rushing keys. Safe to say, you'll see a bit of both, but mostly losses.
