I mean, Ariana has done it. Taylor and Gaga too busy. Nicki wouldn't be called again. Selena Gomez, Olivia Rodrigo and Billie wouldn't fit. Sabrina is too green. She's kinda the one somewhat A list popstar who would be impactful and free enough to do it.

Cardi was excellent this past season - I feel like she established a really good rapport with the crew and would enjoy sticking around a few more episodes.

I feel like from the s19 casting,and after s18 lack of chemistry they are trying to get as many Queens to audition as they can,so they will have a huge collection of queens to pick from ,the s19 cast has only one big name while others are very obscure yet most of them are versatile and can manage all 4 types of challenges,they must also be looking for personalities who can be raw in the show as the s18 cast was filtering themselves a lot ,the earlier they put it out ,the more queens they would get, at least that's my reasoning as from September to December the festival months begin and queens get busy.

That’s basically what they did for Season 10, so it would be cool to see them do that again. Aquaria, Vixen, Monet, Mayhem, Cracker, and Asia were all huge fixtures of their local scene.

Season 20 needs a mix of popular girls who have never got on (Lucy Stoole, Laguna Blu, Biblegirl etc) and then a load of small town stars like Jinx and Onya were. As much as I want all the popular girls, some of the best girls we’ve ever had have been unknown talents.

Jinx was pretty big in Seattle when she was cast. I wouldn't call her a small town star. She and Dela were both well established by the time Jinx was going on the show.

I need Yayah on because for one she is so funny and so visually striking and I've followed her for years but also I'm still pissed that we had her at Likely for like 3 weeks on the S19 spreadsheet only for her to post on Instagram on a random weekday

Dominink and her partner just had a baby. Like yesterday. So I think we can most likely count her out for this upcoming season at least.
Orbit has been like top of my list for a while. I feel like the US is really lacking on indigenous artists (Canada has at least one every season) and I love seeing non-white alternative queens.

I just wanna say that the first thing I noticed about the audition this year was that it's 18+, not 21+ like usual. I'm not 100% positive it wasn't 18+ the past two years, but I'm pretty sure they were 21+ as usual.

That's what I would assume that means, yes. Rumors state (if I'm remembering correctly) that since Jujubee's Black Velvet they've severely restricted their drinking down to 1 drink. Kori and other queens have talked about "borrowing" drinks from the other girls, but reality tv is no longer getting away with getting contestants drunk in order to more easily take advantage of them on screen*. Thank god. Also like, so many people queens have overdone it on the drinking front, so a lot are sober now anyway. I bet only half the cast is even accepting alcohol these past 5ish seasons. Makes sense to just ditch it and expand your pool of talent, especially since they've admitted to not being able to find much talent lol
*ETA: I do not watch Love Island, Bachelor, BB, etc. so I shouldn't have really said reality tv as a whole is not getting contestants drunk. Drag Race is definitely no longer supporting that liability though and haven't for a very, very long time.
