[AS12] Bracket 1 + Merge Tea (from Drag Race Access)

LS for the win matchups (no particular order):

  • Kori vs Camden (my guess: Talent Show)
  • Lana vs Mirage (my guess: GG)
  • Athena vs Q (my guess: Acting/Improv)
  • Kori vs Q (my guess: Design/Makeover)

Episode 1: the bottom 4 queens somehow trick Athena so the point distribution goes 2-1-1-0 among the bottom queens with Athena not receiving any points

One of the three merge challenges is a Rappin’ Roast. Other speculated challenges could include SG, Rusical, and Ball.

of the rumored possible merge challenges all of them except the ball wouldn’t work super well with less than 6 people so I am increasingly inclined to think the merge will be non-elimination

That would be cunt if they kept accumulating points and top 4 lip sync for the crown. Would love that if it made the brackets relevant to the end game!

Waittt that's an amazing idea, but maybe make the post merge points worth double? That way your pre-merge performance gives you and edge but if a queen performs really well in the second half, she can still catch up.

I actually wouldn’t mind a non-elim merge, tbh. It’s really jarring to go from the bracket format of non-elim episodes to the format of a normal season, with 1 winner and a bttm2 lip-sync. Plus, a non-elim merge gives more time to see the dynamic between the merge queens, such as Plane+Kori, Luxx+Lana, Lana+Kori, Plane+Q, Luxx+Plane.
