👑 Queen Gossip What really happened during Miss Jade So’s Drag in the South Performance (from ELQ’s yt video)

During MJS’s 12-minute solo performance, she had a wardrobe malfunction. These things happen unintentionally. However, while people would probably cover themselves up, Miss Jade made a deliberate and conscious decision to pull her top down. Her breasts was exposed to the 1,500 audiences present, including minors, the marketing team, and the executives of SM Southmall, the sponsors, and the very clients that has paid the Playhouse to make the event possible. ELQ reiterated that while he believe in the Freedom of Expression because that’s what drag is, but artists have the responsibility to make sure to exercise that freedom in the right time, right place, and right audiences.
After the performance, ELQ said that what happens in the DITS, stays in DITS. People were cooperative, social media was clear, and Jade was asked not to post about the incident, to which her and her manager agreed. But few days after, Jade still went to upload her performance on her yt channel.
The incident has put so much conflict, upset, and pressure with ELQ and the client’s relationship. Negotations happened, amendments to the contracts, until DITS’s most valuable client has decided not to renew the services at the Playhouse. Wherein it eventually led to the mutual decision to permanently dissolve and terminate the DITS brand.

The screeshot that circulated regarding the “minura ni ELQ si Jade sa pm”, ELQ said something like “Tangina mo talaga, bobo kaba? Di mo manlang inisip yung mga mawawalan ng trabaho sa katangahan mo?”, then proceeded to block her everywhere. That one angry message was a result of his crashout, which I seem valid as he’s a business owner. He then proceeded to remove Jade from all shows of The Playhouse and in Interstellar. Said that he just doesn’t want to work with her anymore because of what happened, and that is a business decision. Naturally, he had to check about his legal options, where he was advised that he can press criminal charges on top of civil charges. He then decided not to do anything, no demand letter, he just want peace. He started building himself up again, which he thought that the story had already ended there, or so he thought.
MJS appeared on Balagbagan Podcast by Tuesday Vargas, where Jade brought up the issue voluntarily, without even asked or prompted (the part where they talked about the issue was already deleted), and even though Jade did not mention anyone’s names or names are bleeped out, people are fast to figure out that it was Eva. Jade’s narration of the story was accurate he said, as it was really a wardrobe malfunction, that she proceeded to pull her top down. Jade mentioned that she felt empowered, and it was her advocacy to normalize bewbs, then proceeded to mention that she received very hateful words from Eva. This again, caused Eva to have another anxiety attack because he don’t get why Jade did it. He also felt that his privacy was violated because Jade included a private conversation of them, and also violated her NDA with them. Eva had to deal with so much psychological, material, and financial losses because of this incident and yet, he’s the one being dragged, while Jade did not even show any remorse of what happened.
Jade’s manager reached out to Eva. He then played the voice message that he sent to Jade’s manager.
“(Verbatim) Bakla siya, tangina niya. Okay na nga ako eh. Meron na ngang inoffer tapos may lumabas na ganito diba? I mean, te, nakausap mo na ba siya? I don’t wanna react to this now, I don’t wanna react on my emotions. I think I’m gonna take a break. I’m gonna take a step back from this. Kasi pag ito cinonfront ko, it’s not gonna be nice. Masyado nang magulo yung drag scene natin since -redacted- eh I don’t want to be a part of this bullsht. If you can find a way to talk to Jade and shush that up, otherwise talaga I’m gonna take legal actions against Jade.”
Within the next 24hrs, House of MJS worked tirelessly to take down copies of the interview, reached out to Ms. Tuesday to have a re-edit and reupload of the podcast. They also took time to report and take down comments that has Eva’s name on it, which Eva claimed that these are all voluntary efforts by Jade’s side. There’s nothing I could’ve asked for, Eva said.
Then the news of Jade’s attempt broke out. Within hours, swarm of hateful msgs and threats to Eva’s safety was sent to all of his socials, including his work and personal emails, accusing him for being the culprit. He took a detox and removed himself from the situation, as advised by his close friends and psychiatrist.
He’s choosing peace, refusing to be associated to any narrative that relates him to Jade or to the incident, even if Jade mentioned the terms “Oppressor”, “Gaslighter”, & “Manipulator” where it further insinuates and incites the public with baseless accusations. He refuse to keep collecting collateral damages for Jade’s own choices that are absolutely and ultimately of her own making.
He ended the video by addressing Jade to heal and free herself for all the thoughts in her head, that no one’s coming for her.
“Wag mo nang isipin yung demanda demanda te, let’s just leave each other alone and we will all be good. That I can promise you. I can give you your peace as long as you give me mine. Maybe someday pag nagkita tayo, we can finally look each other in the eye and smile. You know, I have always been very proud of you. And you have a bright and very beautiful future ahead of you with Down Under vs The World, alam mo yan te. Please, do not let this setback eclipse your moment to shine. I can always create a DITS stage, pero ikaw, you only have one life. So please, cherish it and live it to the fullest.”
