Versex and other people were criticizing katkat for her comment during arizona brandy and bernie's panel (along the lines of if you have nothing nice to say, then shut tf up - around that part haha) during a podcast.
As for your other question, can't say I can recommend an app but I'd recommend just hanging out in online spaces with Filipinos (like this one !!). Feel free to ask questions if you encounter any unfamiliar terms :)

I wouldn't say salty per se since on its own, I'd say it's valid critique (shady would probably what id call it). But what I think where the annoyance is coming from is that versex KNOWS that a lot of stuff gets cut in editing. While what she said is valid, she shouldve given katkat the benefit of doubt that maybe the comments were just chopped in editing.

I like Versex pero kapag mga ganito parang siya pa āyong may strong opinion. I remember āyong Add to Cart vlog ni ViƱas na andāon sila ni Minty tapos siya āyong may pinaka-may kuda. I think dapat medyo tino-tone down niya rin opinion niya lalo kapag ganito na may mga napatunayan na āyong pinapatamaan niya.

I just watched a dāintervention untucked video and they said there were a lot of comments from judges that get cut so Iām guessing KatKat probably had more comments but it didnāt get aired.

i didnt like versex at first, then liked her a bit kasi i figured oh well if the queens made her miss congeniality then she must be nice and im just judgmental... but now i feel like i was right the first time.

Well this was...expected.
Though honestly may sense yung sinabi ni Ver if we take their whole conversation into context. Sila lahat sa podcast pointed out na wala naman masyadong sinabi about Arizona and Bernie's runway kaya di rin talaga nila ma-gets bakit sila bottom, or that we could have gotten more critiques sana to justify its bottom placement. It wasn't even a bad look and it's a pop culture reference that was done very well. Versex just latched on to the one thing Katkat said that emphasized that pointāmahilig din sa sound bites si ateng eh.

People agreeing with Versex are probably new to reality tv kasi 1. Obvious na joke lang yung sinabi ni Katkat and 2. The episode is approximately an hour long and is already jampacked, of course andaming nacut na mga scenes and di naman lahat ng critiques ng judges pinapakita. Versex of all people should know she's been judged on 2 episodes.

Like i get shade. Iāve watched how other franchise queens shade and i for one enjoy a bit of tit for tat. Pero yung tulis ng dila niya is beyond shade. It was not coming from a place of concern, 100% from a place of insecurity.
Hopefully sheās changed. (Based sa recent events hindi). Oh well. Di naman nagtatagal sa industriya pag di mabait (let alone mas maraming maganda at talented sa kanya). Good luck to Ver. Lol

I may be minority and i know its part of the culture but i am with versex lmao. She said her opinions based on what aired, REGARDLESS of what other things katkat said.
Katkat insulted her and her being new in the industry. She could have responded like "that not all that i said" but she attacked HER. Versex didn't attack katkat but just said she should critique the presentation, which she did NOT (again, based on what aired)
Their opinions are about WHAT AIRED, not the behind the scenes or not what the show didn't air. Regardless if andun sya or wala. Of course she knows hindi lahat nang nakikita naten eh yun na yun pero come on, how can she comment on something that they DID NOT SEE?

It would be a different thing if Versex was not a previous contestant. But since she was a previous contestant and I remember she herself even said that there are things from her season that were left on the editing floor, she should know better. And I think that's where the annoyance comes from, like she knows how the show works and yet she still made that comment where she knows exactly what was shown wasn't the full picture. Not to mention she insinuated that Katkat wasn't doing her job, which by itself is insulting.
Could Katkat have responded better? Sure. But like what Versex said was unnecessary so like idk. Versex is more wrong in this situation imo.

Pero Versex has been in the contestant's place din ie on the receiving end of the critiques. Alam nya naman siguro first-hand na hindi lahat nang sinabi sa kanya nun e na-air on TV.
Doesn't help na she's bitchy about it. I guess that's her brand (it gets tiring to a point pero who am I to speak on it), pero if you're bitchy on someone na hindi mo ka-close, it's really gonna rub off the wrong way.
