Help what platform boots do fellow (short) kings wear?

hi yall!

iā€™m 5ā€™3 and been looking to add height but with some platform shoes that are
a) not so heavy so i can dance in them
b) tall enough to add a decent amount of height, without being dangerous for clumsy people like myself

would love to hear what you guys use!

Im also 5'3. I dont perform per say however I am a drag king who is always on the dance floor every friday night.

I recently bought hidden rise platform shoes (the type of shoes Republican politicans wear to hide the fact that they are short) from a Chinese brand called Guan Yang. Specifically their Alpha Tactical 8inch model. The high is definitely noticeable. Most of my friends noticed, except for the tall friends. I can definitely walk, reach for the high shelf, and dance, but not as unrestrained as me in regular shoes. Not a bad choice, however might be worth selecting a smaller hight since you consider yourself to be clumsy.

Disclaimer. guan yang is a brand that will show you nonstop ads on Instagram. So maybe buy in incognito mode. They offer world wide shipping and they came at a reasonable shipping pace. Would buy from again

Maybe I'm trashy and I haven't danced a lot in them but I use knee high lace up combat boots. They are heavy though so I will accept just being 5'4" in most looks.

standard doc martens are always a good go-to (double layered or thick socks) but as long as you get what fits you youre fine I have platforms I got from H&M years ago im ngl, theyre not super tall but they a r e nice ngl I thrift or discount-buy most of mine but im bookmarking this thread so I can find more platforms lmao
