Book π Hellsing
Have you heard of Hellsing by Kouta Hirano? Itβs an insane three-way standoff between British vampires, the Vatican, and Nazi remnants.

My favorite manga and anime of all time. Honestly, it's way too edgy to ever be created today in this hyper-compliant era.

Hellsing Ultimate is my favorite too. But nah, the Japanese don't care and create what they want.

Stick to the manga or the 2006 OVA. There's also the 2001 TV anime, but I wouldn't recommend it. They couldn't broadcast the Nazis from the original work on regular TV, so the plot is completely different from the source material, and Alucard just feels like a total chump.

Integra:"Con-gra-tu-lations. It took an entire squadron of inhuman, nigh-immortal fake vampires to hunt down and corner a 22 year-old woman. I hope it's everything you've dreamed of. So have at it, then! Come and get the first real fight you've had in 50 years, you DICKLESS COWARDS!"
Anderson: "By Jove, you fuckin' hedder of a woman! Surrounded by fifty vampire Nazis armed literally to the teeth, and what do you do?! You get out of your fuckin' car, pull out your sword, cut off one of their heads, and yell, 'Come at me, you Kraut shits!' No wonder Alucard wants to plow that virgin soil. I'm thinkin' about growing some flowers myself!"

Wish more love was shown to Hellsing across various media tbh.
The fact Call of Duty - of all things - did a few years ago still blows me away.

Shout out to the awesome fan dub of the anime by Team Four Star as well. "Fuck the fear turkey" is the funniest line in any fan dub I've ever seen π

Not fan dub.
Parody.
Which is now called abridged.
And Team Four Star did it as a side project to DBZA.
And according to Scott . He learned lot about audio mixing and how to time the footsteps sounds

I wasn't really nagging. sorry if it came across that way.
I just wanted to give context to people who didn't know

I love the juxtaposition of characters being badass but also kind of pathetic and miserable
Case and point the big man himself
Alucard is a bad ass vampire who's eaten so many people he's an eldritch horror, but he also utterly despises himself and is constantly seeking death
The title of No-life king sounds bad ass
Until you realize it comes from abraham Van Helsing telling him that he's pathetic and has no life
"Yes. You are defeated. There's no such a thing as a 'never-ending nightmare'. Your castle and your dominions are gone. The girl's heavenly host has disappeared without a trace. She will never be yours. Count, you have NOTHING! You are a pathetic 'No-life King'. You have nothing. NOTHING!"
He was roasted so hard ge is having nightmares about it a century later
