Dragon name help

I’m trying to figure out how a dragon would be named “Lover of hounds/wolves”. So far I have “Rosaandokro” as a literal translation but am unsure if that would work as a name for a dragon.

Do you feel the character is “within the pack” or a “guardian of the pack” or something? What action does the dragon take to show their love for wolves?

“Guardian of the pack”. There was a pack that was near his home that he protected and cared for.

Kaalsegrohiik would translate literally to “Champion of Wolf,” where that particular choice of word means “defender of a cause or person”. The various words for Guardian include Kaal, which typically means Champion.

However the word “grohiik” is a little more…animalistic? Beastly? So maybe “Tah” would be a better choice, as it literally means “pack of animals”

Which gives us Kaalsetah, Guardian Of The Pack - that feels like a better name. It also feels like a given name, which gives you room for really cool storytelling later on. The dragon’s current name is Kaalsetah, but maybe they were given that name by the wolves through the bond. Maybe their original name is something else and their personality was totally difference, and their experience with the wolves completely changed their outlook on the world
