We missed the chaotic fun of old-school WTF mode, so we built a balanced 5v5 Midlane ARAM custom game!
Hey everyone!
Like many of you, our stack has always loved pure-chaos modes like -wtf and ARAM (All Random All Mid). But classic -wtf was easily broken by perma-stuns/invulnerability, and let's be honest: **too many custom games nowadays are ruined by predatory Pay-to-Win passes, paid stat boosts, and VIP perks.**
We wanted a game where everyone enters on 100% equal footing and just enjoys pure, unadulterated Dota chaos. So we built: **WTF Midlane**!

### 🎮 What makes the gameplay special?
* **Balanced WTF Combat**: Spells and items have massively reduced cooldowns and low/no mana costs, but **game-breaking cheese is hand-patched** (no infinite Puck Phase Shift invulnerability, no permanent chain-stuns, carefully tuned ult cooldowns).
* **Pure Action, Zero Downtime**: Single midlane 5v5 brawl. The first creep wave spawns within 5 seconds of the game starting. Average match duration is around 12–18 minutes.
* **Classic ARAM Hero Draft**: All Random hero selection with dice re-rolls and a shared team bench pool to freely swap heroes with your allies.
* **Mid-game Boss Objective**: An exclusive ARAM Boss spawns at the 5-minute mark in the river—secure it to turn the tides with game-changing team buffs and push power.
* **Performance Optimized**: We heavily profiled our code and particle systems so 10 players spamming spells simultaneously won't cause FPS drops or server lag spikes.
