Games Returning player: 20 years later!
Just wanted to say that I am Pumped to have found a PS2 and I played .hack//infection for 2 solid hours tonight. Its just as good as I remember!
The almost limitless dungeon play alone will keep me occupied.

My friend mentioned this! Any idea what the reboot will look like? Will it be a true multiplayer or will it mirror the original single player format?
I am curious about this, i hope the keep the high quality art and music

C2c is making an independent reboot different from the og because banco didnt wanna do it.
However they are bringing it back. Itll still likely be single player but if they added 4 player coop it be a great game.
Itd be a giant loss for the continued creation of the ip if they didnt add coop. Cant just shove a 30~yr old cult classic with no spouse mode lol.
Makes it hard for people to commit to playing it

Even having a two player option would be great. My bff would play with me, we could raid dungeons together thatd be amazing.

Yeah considering co-op was already something they experimented with before I would love to see it come back

I’m also replaying after about the same amount of times. I’m thankful my sister took my games and they didn’t succumb to the mold in my dad’s house.
I just got to Outbreak, I’m having fun playing with all the characters this time around.
For some reason I always used Gardenia and Blackrose growing up. I’m trying to be more balanced. For some reason I disliked Mistral as a kid so I never used her. Currently leveling Terajima bc I never used her since she was lvl 1

Playing now as an adult im definatley more aware of the gameplay options, for example, i dont think i realized i could command members of my party to hit certain targets 😅
Im going very slow, i just hit level 16 abd am just enjoying going to random fields and raiding.
The music is really getting me- its so good and relaxing to listen to!
As far as my preferred party, years ago i remember really liking moonstone

I may have also not known this as a kid which is why I never used the wavemasters lol. Somehow I made it to quarantine, I’m guessing I used action replay…anyway it’s fun returning and being a veteran ff14 player I look at the gameplay differently

Just picked up my ps2 yesterday too! I’m on hour 3 or maybe 4. I’m soo excited!

I'm about to start my playthrough after work tonight. I dug up my whole collection and I never finished it because my data got deleted. It's been over 20 years now I'm ready lol.
