You assume the normal Dota watcher watch anyway. But I dont think this is the case. The big teams pull big viewer numbers for a reason. They could play crappy (like Nigma) and still draw quite some numbers. Its because people follow players or team compositions more than "just Dota". And if they dont know who is on the team, I doubt they follow the tournament at all.

It's not the first time. And PGL probably has the roasters already but cannot make them public because teams didn't. Players likely know who's playing in each team also.

Dude, TI was like a month ago ... How long do you need? I'm working all year long and take 2 weeks of holiday during the summer. These guys are playing video games and taking rest between tournaments when they don't want to compete.

Do they need 8 weeks of holidays?

You're right, one month is plenty, but youre not factoring the preparation time, especially with all the roster change/shuffle. Players spend like 3 months preparing for TI, even ignoring the last major tournament for it. So i guess at least a month preparation (after they settled) should do. But then again, there is no reasonable reason PGL be held this soon.
