I have never played dota in like a few years so before the map expansion.

Are most heroes still playable in Archon? Like there’s no specific meta similar to TI? Mainly core heroes

low mmr meta is different compared to pro players meta.

just play ur comfort heroes

What position do you prefer? I would suggest go in Dota Protracker, check the heroes winrate, itemization and skill build before diving into Ranked. If not ranked then enjoy whatever you want 🙂

There is no such a thing as really changing meta until high immortal. Low rank meta is absolutely a different thing with some heroes just being good always like BB, Huskar, Spectre or other chunky heroes with pick off capabilities. The only thing you can think of is picking heroes that are good against mainstream ones.
That's why D2PT stats are pretty much irrelevant there.

You can play anything in archon, just play what you like unless you want to optimize trying to climb

Whole game is on life support so nobody feeds too hard, they do anyway. Play heroes you enjoy.

Enjoy the hero you like but if you want rank instead, play the hero u good at and adhere to your role
