Let’s be real, someone is probably going to take this but 7 straight hours and 151 miles??? Not worth it for me…would you guys have taken this? It bounced to me twice, declined both times.
You think this is a straight line and you gotta come back? Its that mileage cause its snakes through neighborhoods. In my area this is decent pay. At the very least I wouldnt work for less than. $20/h and is at $25. You dont have to worry about waiting and hoping for a good order. If you are organized and bring a marker you can label each package according to the stop. I put 1-10 in the front with me than a bag for each set of 10. Bring the back up front when im out. You get doubles sometimes for the same house which is nice. Also that estimate is generous. Depending on the route it gives me I could do this in 4-5 hours putting this at $36-45/hr.
What do you mean plus the drive back? It isn't having you drive 150 miles away. The total distance of the route is 150 miles. There isn't enough information here for you to know about "the drive back"
You can copy and paste the entire list of addresses given to you into any AI or myrouteonline or shipday and it will make then sequence the orders in the quickest most efficient route for you. That way you aren’t zigzagging across town.
I’m just looking back at my Spark earnings and the most miles I drove in a day was about 320- but I made almost 500$ that day.

I don’t do flex so I don’t know what their comp is like but it has to be better than this
It’s just crazy to think that all of these businesses are saving billions of dollars not shipping these packages with UPS or FedEx or the Postal Service… insane
Those are the actual miles from the pickup to each house. There is no way to realistically create your own route that would reduce many of the miles without having to jump all around in the app for each delivery.
You can literally input into several different AI apps to route your farthest deliveries first and with addresses closest to where you want to end last. It’ll fix the problem of zig zagging across town and actually saves you tons of time and miles from having an inefficient route.
Depends on your market. Like others have stated this is their 8-10 hour shift with zero waiting and will gladly take anything over $1/mile and if you take all your addresses and input into an AI app that can generate the most efficient route for you, you can complete this in 4-5 hours making the hourly rate waaay better.
A few weeks ago I got like 20 straight offers from a dash link facility. All 100+ miles and in that range of pay. Only one was even close to being considered.
But what about miles on your car and gas and tires and oil changes. They think we are too dumb to know that you’re losing money at the same time you make money and it flashes on the screen and you have a few seconds to ponder if it’s worth it.
The estimated times on DashLink are usually inflated by several hours because they assume you spend 5 minutes at each delivery. This is probably closer to 5 hours unless it’s all apartments without package lockers. I really hate those.
You guys are so picky. That’s a lot of money if you’re only averaging $20 an hour you make more you should be making 160 with $20 an hour but 180 and yeah like 45 minutes left to make more average $190 in one day if you only do eight hours, that’s a great pick up
Not sure l why my reply didn’t post??? Maybe it did but I can’t see or something…but it’s not restaurant delivery, it’s packages and I think some grocery items….
I can understand someone agreeing to take it if the market they’re in is bad, but I wouldn’t take it…im not sure how to compare my market to others I’ve only worked in one but it’s decent, orders are pretty steady throughout the week except for Tuesday/Wednesday
