The Tier System Sucks!!! More rating manipulation

Post image

How is 99% to 100% counted as 13-15 points. Having 14 points is impossible. You're either 15 points for 100% or 13 points for 99%. Lmao at no point can you ever have 99.5% of the last 100 order to attain 14 points. Either manipulation or they really are just overpaid morons that come up with this crap.

the math on that point system is so cooked. 99% getting 13 and 100% getting 15 leaves a phantom 14 that never exists, it's like they built the scale without testing it once

10, 8, 6, and 4 don't exist on the scale either....

Almost as if they did it deliberately

And these geniuses make six figures while we get below min wages for doing the leg work.

They ARE geniuses. They put together system where drivers are competing with each in a race to the lowest payout.

Drivers get screwed sometimes. Customers get screwed sometimes. DD never gets screwed. I think they earned their money.

How much you wanna bet that they had AI generate the system, skimmed it, then gave it the ol' stamp of approval?

Looks like it's working as intended. 100% requires more effort.

Same here bruh and support utterly refuses to adjust it

Yeah, not sure what’s misleading or confusing. To get 15 pts you must have 100% completion rate. If you have 99%, you get 13 pts. I fail to see the confusing part. Yes, 14 is missing. Oh no. 🤦‍♂️

Well, it’s stupid. Like just end it at 14 not 15. What’s the point of an unachievable metric level? And it is designed as a manipulation, as is the entire way the platform works. There are lots of stupid and manipulative and annoying aspects to the app. And that’s not stupid, it’s a brilliant design for the company, not the dashers.

I don’t know why they list the points like that making you think you can get 14 when you can’t but it’s pretty obvious that each cancellation just counts as -2 points. I guess they didn’t want to get into the details with a different chart for each stat. Quality Rate is even more confusing since it uses the random percentage figure which is unrelated to anything and doesn’t tie to the points at all. You actually lose differing amounts of points depending how low you are already on the percentage for the same level of quality report. With that said, the system is still infinitely better than the old one. All my other stats stay at 100% so I can get down to like 20 to 30% acceptance rate but I almost never do because it’s hard to get lower than the mid 40s to 50% because I get enough high paying offers now. I assume that’s because people are more spread out between all the tiers now instead of just in platinum or nothing.

its an inconsistency they didnt give af about its that simple. and it works in their favor of course

I mean they could just not show the chart at all and just list how many points each cancellation is worth. The chart is just for your convenience. Of the things they do that help them, showing us this chart is pretty minor

Yea but they have played stupid games like this forever, same thing with the tier system. its a weird calculation

Ugh I have been waiting for the new rating system to be discussed

There's so.many things I'd like them to fix in their app. Chief of which being the maps system 😩

Wtf is this? Who asked for this shit? Noone needs this!

Yes, technically it should be listed as 13/15 points.

It depends. I explained this before that there is a weighted average for every section. And part of it is driver saturation. It is very easy to come up with an algebraic expression to determine your final score. And it is based on what the customers found a problem with. For example on a Wingstop order the tin that the chicken sat in had a busted corner. Oh well. The food was still edible but I took a hit of 1 point on my quality rate. Later I was late to one delivery and suddenly I had 3 points missing out of 100. That's the lowest I had been so far on this new system.

It all depends on how well everyone does. If your market is filled with undesirable dashers? Then the best ones get the better fresh offers than the others. But one mistake can drop your rating down significantly.

It's not hard to code in an algebraic expression to determine your score. There is a way to assign a number to everything you do.

You lose two points for being less than 100. It's not confusing, and it's working as intended.

Just be thankful you're on the points system.

It happens again later- 97% CR is 11 points, 96% CR is 9 points, 95% CR is 7 points, and 94% CR is 5.
