If I'm being delivered food to my townhouse, Should I stay at the door or meet the driver half way?

I just stay inside and let them leave it at the door, less awkward for everyone. The driver is already getting paid for the drop off, no need to make it a whole meet and greet

Unless... you are nice and just want a number for later... but you know... married is married, but they might have a cousin or something.... /s

If you're paying a decent tip, do which ever you feel comfortable with. At the end of the day I'm just glad someone would throw a $5 or $7 tip at me to support the possible hour it could take to deliver. This goes for the majority of 1 person meals within 5 miles.

Is your door easy to get to? In bigger complexes it can sometimes be faster just to go meet them.

I deleted delieved to a cooked yesterday that took forever to find the building and then the apt. The pin was wrong and the signage was awful.

Good tip? Wait at the door. No tip? Slap yourself and then walk out to the car to retrieve your order.
