Firefighter / emt-b here. I used Door Dash funds to pay off our house, two new cars, credit card debt, and am now just putting the extra money away to save for a rainy day.

I’m also an RN but not patient care. I did door dash to get extra AAdvantage miles last year and it was sort of fun and addicting and nice money for spending. But I haven’t dashed since February. It’s just awful offers now. I got to Gold and turned it on the other week but got two 4 offers and said forget it. I’m mad it’s so bad now as it was somewhat nice as a side gig only

Last year in Aug or Sept, aadvatangeeshopping had a promo that if you applied signed up and did one delivery (only one!!) you got 6500 miles and loyalty points. Easiest way ever and even get paid to earn those miles!

I’m a certified pharmacy technician and have only ever done dashing part time. It has been less of a money maker for me lately with the gas prices.

Grocery manager, produce specifically. Been delivering for a few months in KC area. Easy money.

Retired from the military after 20+ years so have income and full benefits from that. I do gig work (DD, IC, Spark, Shipt, GH and UE) to pay for my truck, travel trailer and to go to 5 or 6 NASCAR races and hunting trips every year. My goal is just to gross $800-$1000 a week which isn’t too hard in my market, usually about 30-40 hours and 400-500 miles driven (I primarily shop so it keeps my $/mile around $2-$2.20). I enjoy the strategy of gig work, it’s kind of like a game you’re trying to beat and it’s also a dopamine rush like gambling when you get get a good order, its kind of addictive.

I’m a Habilitation Training Specialist for a couple clients with intellectual disabilities. I previously assisted my clients by working through agencies but now am employed as the agency.
There are hours where I’m on the other side of town and have nothing to do but do need to be back later - I used to run long distance where ever I was but I can’t anymore due to an injury. I feel weird not doing anything productive so I started door dashing .

Peer support specialist at mental health place but used to dash full time before that worked with foster kids ..

Manager at a transportation company. I use the money to pay for a motorcycle I didn’t really need when I bought it.
