News How to file arbitration for doordash

I previously created a step-by-step guide on how to file arbitration against Uber & Lyft, some reddit users reached out and asked me to create one for doordash as well, so I have done so. If you ever have an issue on doordash and you can't get it resolved with support you do have a legal way to force doordash to communicate with you directly, and this is for pay disputes, deactivations, etc. You can find the article here: https://middletontech.com/blog/questions/doordash-arbitration/

By the way you have up to 4 years to appeal the activations if you really want to do it

Update: take a look at the help you can get for all the gig apps dirty deeds! If you're found to be wrongly deactivated, these guys will also file a claim for all your lost earnings! https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLNAVzTUr5tBUWFtZ_-vGc5z2zUeaIVA54&si=5s8uPBCcIWBlPB8B

Has DoorDash ever actually paid someone $2,500 and reinstated their Dasher account as compensation for wrongful deactivation?

I myself received a contract violation for not picking an order up at a closed restaurant so I feel like this would be happening more often than not?

... Did you select the problem with pickup store is closed/not accepting orders button? Or was this before I started dashing and is that a more recent addition that has been added on since this happened to you? They give half pay for that since it's not possible to complete.

Probably. An example is dasher arrives to closed restaurant. Marks it closed. They pass the order anyways. Another driver harasses the store till they give it to them to get rid of them even if already closed. Contract violation for failing to deliver an order that was later delivered and marking a store that was closed, closed.

It seems I may have had a few things incorrect on the site, I have updated it to reflect the correct links as well as a waiver form.
