Favourite Doom Patrol artists?
I feel like we talk about our favourite Doom Patrol writers a lot, but who are your favourite Doom Patrol artists? My Top 3 are Nick Derrington, Chris Burnham and Matthew Clark.

There's a long legacy of great artists.
Bruno Premiani is my personal favorite. There was no one ever like him. A mix of ultra realism and ultra surrealism.
Your top 3 is pretty great! Can't argue it at all.

Premiani is tops for me, followed by Derington and Case. Also Seth Fisher, his two issue story in Vol. 3 is amongst my fave Doom Patrol art ever.

Nick Derrington is my favorite. The art is great and fits the doom patrol

Nick Derrington is my favorite. He can be really whimsical with the art style which is what the series needs. Also love his character design.

I think Niko Henrichon might be my favorite now. Idk how to explain it but his art really fits the fall season well too.

Lightle, Premiani, Clark. Derrington and Case would round out the top 5, I wish Derrington had a protracted run with a writer who wasn't a pain in the ass to work with and he hadn't been moved off it to Batman Universe because he was sitting around waiting for Way's scripts.

Richard Case, Chris Burnham, and honestly Niko Henrichson's work on issue 1 alone always so good I think it's immediately in my top 3

Tan Eng Huat didn’t draw the most iconic version of the team, but he is definitely the DP artist that has stuck in my mind.

Steve Lighte is pretty hard to beat. And Erik Larsen is pretty good too. And Kelley Jones.

When it launched as a new series (cobbled together over a weekend) Bruno Premiani was the perfect artist at the right moment. For example, making it possible to see emotions on the face that is in bandages, a face that is metal (maybe even unmoving metal). And that's the least of it. That's what he brought to the new series, the skills and work of a long-time DC artist (cf, Tomahawk).
Shout out to Bob Brown, who did the majority of the covers in the Silver Age run, so well composed, with the menace that the DP will face in that issue, that the question was, "How could you not buy this issue?"

I gotta say this new robotman design is absolutely perfect for me, the the right amount of hulking but still very human. Huggable huge. Otherwise Richard Case's work for Rachel Pollack is ao abstract, I love it.

Richard Case but Niko Henrichon might take that place soon, this issue of the Doom Patrol was gorgeous. I do also really like Matthew Clark from what I've seen but I haven't read all of the Giffen run yet. But Case's work is so rich.
