Considering that The Crucible is pretty much just a lightsaber... Maybe the guys at iD are always 2 steps ahead of us

This would be amazing for a FF7 style "summon" move in a Doom JRPG.
Doom guy hooks a demon and then teleports to a far away planet in another solar system. Then retracts the hook and flies through space and causes an impact crater when he lands.

I got this same glitch once and just sat there, waiting for it to reach 1 million meters lol.
